The truth is, this was a difficult post to write. It’s bad enough to see these lies being spewed all over the media, to witness family members falling prey to their seductive ideologies, but to see these heresies growing in popularity even within the Mainstream Churches, is almost beyond belief. The Lord wanted me to expose this for what it truly is, a repackaged, rebranded ideology that is as ancient as the Garden of Eden.
The enemy, though clever and subtle, really has no new tricks under his sleeve. He will simply take his old tricks and deceptions, repackage them with a modern, new “look”, and then present them as FRESH, NEW, “COOL”. He appeals to our human nature, to our PRIDE!! He is a master of deception, and sadly, if we don’t know HISTORY (God’s)STORY, if we don’t know God’s Word, we can easily fall prey to the devil’s schemes. What am I talking about?
The Mystery of Lawlessness has been at work in the Church for over 2000 years, and it is growing STRONGER (2 Thess. 2:7)! This mystery of lawlessness takes many forms, one of which is Ishtar worship. Elements of Ishtar /Asherah worship have crept into Mainstream Churches, all repackaged with a nice new little bow, now called “feminism” and “sexual reformation”. What is Ishtar worship and how can it be in a Mainstream Christian Church?
ASHERAH/ISHTAR WORSHIP in BIBLICAL TIMES
Asherah, or Ashtoreth, was the name of the chief female “deity” worshiped in ancient Syria, Phoenicia, and Canaan. The Phoenicians called her Astarte, the Assyrians worshiped her as Ishtar, and the Philistines had a temple of Asherah (1 Samuel 31:10). Because of Israel’s incomplete conquest of the land of Canaan, Asherah-worship survived and plagued Israel, starting as soon as Joshua was dead (Judges 2:13).
The cult of Inanna-Ishtar, was said to be affiliated with a variety of sexual rites, that included priests, prostitution, and all kinds of sexual perversion .
Ishtar was most beloved by the Assyrians, who exalted her as their highest “deity”, even surpassing their own male “deity”(god); Ashur. The book of Jeremiah refers to Ashterah as the “Queen of Heaven”.
Note: All pagan “gods and goddesses” were nothing more than demons/Nephilim, the offspring of the “daughters of men” (female women) and fallen angels. (Genesis 6: 1-5)
Jeremiah 7:18 – It reads “The children gather wood, the fathers kindle fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven. And they pour out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger“.
It is generally agreed that the cakes were made in the shape of a human being. Many such fragments have been found in clay—usually with accented female features.
Jeremiah 44:17 it is recorded that the people intended to “burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out libations to her…in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem….”
King Solomon chased after these “gods” or idols because of his numerous marriages to pagan women. Because of Solomon and Israel’s idolatry, the nation of Israel was divided in half and later conquered by her enemies.
1 Kings 11:15; “ For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.
There is evidence of Ishtar or “goddess” worship all over the world. Abstracted images of vulvas have also been unearthed in France, Spain, and Italy. Some are forked images, others are shaped like disks, and all have clear, finely marked notches, which may be connected in some way with the menstrual cycle. Does this remind anyone of pink hats being worn at a recent “women’s march”?
Ancient Ishtar worship usually involved something called an Asherah pole. The Asherah was represented by a limbless TREE TRUNK planted in the ground. The trunk was usually carved into a symbolic representation of the goddess. One of King Manasseh’s evil deeds was that he “took the carved Asherah pole he had made and put it in the temple” (2 Kings 21:7).
Hmmm…where else do we see a “tree”, a “woman” and a serpent (satan)? Oh, yes, the Garden of Eden!!! Eve was DECEIVED!!!
The Lord God, through Moses, forbade the worship of Asherah. The Law specified that a grove of trees was not to be near the altar of the Lord (Deuteronomy 16:21). Despite God’s clear instructions, Asherah-worship was a perennial problem in Israel. This is because it’s immoral sexual practices were very appealing and seductive. As Solomon slipped into idolatry, one of the pagan deities he brought into the kingdom was Asherah, called “the goddess of the Sidonians” (1 Kings 11:5, 33).
Later, Israel’s Queen Jezebel made Asherah-worship even more prevalent, with 400 prophets of Asherah on the royal payroll (1 Kings 18:19).
Israel’s Queen Jezebel promoted Asherah worship! The book of Revelation shows us that Asherah worship, complete with sexual immorality, will be alive and flourishing in the last days ! Thyatira was a literal Church during the days of John the Revelator (around 95AD). But since we know that there are at least 4 levels of interpretation in Scripture, The Church of Thytatira ALSO represents a spiritual Church in the last days. In Revelation 2, Jesus WARNS His people NOT to follow the teachings of the Church of Thyatira, as they are walking after “Jezebel”, or the Asherah and “female power”, including the promotion of sexual immorality!
Revelation 2:18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write:
The Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze, says this:
19 ‘I know your deeds, and your love and faith and service and perseverance, and that your deeds of late are greater than at first. 20 But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit acts of immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. 21 I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality.
22 Behold, I will throw her on a bed of sickness, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with pestilence, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.
24 But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do NOT hold this teaching, who have NOT known the deep things of Satan, as they call them—I place no other burden on you.
ASHERAH/ISHTAR WORSHIP IN MAINSTREAM CHURCHES TODAY
February 14, 2019…”Pastor Nadia Bolz Weber”/ELCA
Who is Pastor Nadia Bolz Weber? She is considered a rising star Pastor and SEMINARY educated THEOLOGIAN in the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church of America). She is a New York Times Best Selling Author. She travels around and makes speeches, empowering young women, calling them to “live lives of sexual freedom” and to not be ashamed of their impurity.” She claims to “swear like a truck driver”, and she believes every Church congregation should have a “drag queen”.
I’m inviting women to mail in their purity rings for a massive art project. Sweetbird studio is collaborating with me to melt them into a sculpture of a vagina, click here to join in and get your certificate of impurity!Nadia Bolz Weber’s recent tweet.
Tattoos aren’t forbidden for the Christian, there are certainly MANY Jesus loving and honoring people who sport Tattoos. HOWEVER, notice that “Pastor” Bolz-Weber PROUDLY sports a tattoo of a “snake Goddess”, one that she called a “strong sacred image of a woman”.
Nadia Bolz Webber: “I needed my skin to protect me, so I had tattooed on my arm an image of the Snake Goddess from a pre-historic Minoan society. She wore a long skirt, and was shirtless, and in each hand she held snakes above her head.
At 21, I needed to be strong and so I did the next best thing: I pretended I was. I claimed the strongest sacred image of a woman I could find, since my fundamentalist Christian upbringing had nothing helpful to offer in this area, and I knew I needed to borrow something from somewhere holy.
Nadia Bolz-Weber, author of “Shameless, a Sexual Reformation” encourages young women to live a life of sexual immorality while still claiming Holiness, she supports “drag queens”, sexual promiscuity, and homosexuality. She is literally promoting the elements of Ishtar worship within the Mainstream Lutheran Church! We were WARNED in the book of Revelation NOT to follow this destructive JEZEBEL teaching!!! Ms. Bolz-Weber is not the only Evangelical “pastor” promoting this type of behavior.
Important Note: We did NOT highlight Nadia Bolz-Weber’s heretical Ishtar worship teaching and instruction in the Church to stir up hatred, anger, or animosity personally towards her!!! Jesus says that if we know the truth, the truth will set us FREE! Please join us in praying for this Pastor (and others like her) to repent of this false teaching so instead of leading the flock astray, they can begin leading them in the ways of Jesus!” 🙂

The truth is, there is NO Divine Feminine. This is from the occult, this is Ishtar Worship, and this is part of the Church of Thyatira, that we were warned about in the Book of Revelation. There is only ONE TRUE GOD, who exists in the form of FATHER, SON, and HOLY SPIRIT! God is both Righteous and Merciful! He gives all Believers His Holy Spirit to then begin calling them out of bondage to SIN AND DEATH. God DOES NOT give us GRACE as a LICENSE TO SIN. This is a VERY SEDUCTIVE false teaching! He has mercy, He loves us, and He will always forgive us when we “mess up”, but He still calls us to a life of holiness, the best that we can attain while wrapped in our sinful, human flesh!
