The Book of 2nd Thessalonians tells us that in the last days, God will separate the “sheep from the goats” by sending a deluding influence upon the earth. The idea is that all those who have hardened their own hearts because of their love of wickedness and sin and their hatred for the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, will be deceived by this strong delusion.
2nd Thessalonians 2:1: Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
2 Thessalonians 2:6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders, 10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved. 11 For this reason God will send upon them a DELUDING INFLUENCE influence so that they will believe what is false,12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.
In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus also warned His Disciples about this coming strong delusion, that it would include “great signs and wonders” and could potentially deceive or mislead even the elect of God. In the Greek, the word for “elect” is eklektos which means those “picked out, chosen by God to receive salvation through His Son Yeshua (Jesus) the Christ. These “signs and wonders” will include seemingly supernatural events and miracles. We know that Jesus, Himself, performed Great Miracles, as did His Disciples, but these will be false Miracles that do NOT point to the One True God, YHWH and His Son Yeshua (Jesus), but will point to something or someone else entirely.
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
In the days of Moses, the Egyptian “magicians” were able to replicate the first few Plagues of Egypt that were smaller in scale; however, when they came to the 3rd plague, the plague of gnats (insects), the Egyptian Magicians could not replicate the Miracles with their “secret arts”. You see, the Egyptian Magicians were working with the demons who do have more power than mankind, to bring about “magic”, something that was strictly forbidden by YHWH (Deuteronomy 18:10). The magicians were able to turn a staff into a snake, they were able to turn water into blood, they were even able to bring frogs upon the land…but, they could not replicate God’s plague of insects, nor any of the remaining plagues that God sent upon Egypt.
Exodus 7:8 Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 9 “When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying, ‘Work a miracle,’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh, that it may become a serpent.’” 10 So Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and thus they did just as the Lord had commanded; and Aaron threw his staff down before Pharaoh and his servants, and it became a serpent. 11 Then Pharaoh also called for the wise men and the sorcerers, and they also, the magicians of Egypt, did the same with their secret arts. 12 For each one threw down his staff and they turned into serpents. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Yet Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
Exodus 8: 18 The magicians tried with their secret arts to bring forth gnats, but they could not; so there were gnats on man and beast. 19 Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God.” But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he did not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
Jesus tells us that in the Last Days, there will be a strong, deluding influence that will include “signs and wonders” (false miracles) to deceive even the very elect if that were possible. Second Thessalonians tells us that God, Himself will send a “deluding influence” to deceive all those who love wickedness and hate the truth. I don’t know about you, but I want to be sure to avoid this strong delusion. The only way to really avoid the deluding influence, to not be deceived by false prophets who display lying signs and wonders, is to stay grounded in God’s Word, the Truth. When we remain grounded in the Word of God, we are much less likely to fall prey to deception.
As stated in a previous post, we already seem to see the build up to this strong delusion happening now. Many churches are going into the prophesied apostasy, embracing things that God’s Word calls sin, and shunning or demonizing anyone who speaks Biblical truth. At the same time, we have this movement towards Ecumenism; however, it’s not just all Christian Churches coming together, it’s all religions coming together, praying together, worshiping together, moving towards a One World Religion. This One World religion MAY sound good on the surface, but in reality, it’s dangerous because it’s a lie.

Muslims teach that Jesus walked in the flesh as a “prophet”. Jews even recognize the “Historical Jesus” who walked the earth. 1 John 4 states all those who do NOT believe that Jesus was the MESSIAH (the CHRIST) the Son of God, who CAME down from Heaven and clothed Himself in the likeness of human flesh is ANTICHRIST (has the antichrist spirit) and NOT sent from God (the TRUE GOD, the TRIUNE GOD who exists as FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT). Jews, Muslims and other religions who do NOT recognize Jesus as the Messiah, the Son of the LIVING GOD who came in the flesh and died at the Cross for the sins of ALL mankind, are influenced by the antichrist spirit. Can they be saved? Definitely! Can they receive Jesus Christ as their Messiah and come into the FAMILY OF GOD?? ABSOLUTELY! But at this time, are we praying to the same God and should we all pray and worship together? No. The Bible teaches that believers and unbelievers should not be bound together. It is very DECEPTIVE to say that we’re all worshiping the same God and that we should all pray together? But Christians who do NOT know the Word of God, who have NOT read their Bibles, can easily be fooled by this very ALLURING deception. This is what the ELITE of the world are currently “building”, something that looks like the ONE WORLD RELIGION.
Are there other possibilities for the “strong delusion” spoken of in 2nd Thess and in Matthew 24, especially ones that could include false signs and wonders, something that may UTILIZE the idea that we all pray to the same God? Well, Jesus told us that the days of His Coming would be like the Days of Noah and Lot. We know that there were some pretty crazy things going on in those days. In the days of Noah, the fallen angels were “mating” with the daughters of men and creating giants, or Nephilim (Genesis 6:1-4). These giants (Nephilim), the hybrid offspring of fallen angels and human women, were very strong, powerful, and they were also very evil. In-fact,they were so evil that God (Elohim) regretted that He had created mankind and decided to send a Great Flood to wipe the earth clean. However, God in His Mercy, preserved a remnant that included Righteous Noah and his family.
Even though God flooded the earth, we know from Scripture that the Nephilim weren’t completely wiped out because they showed up again much later in the “Promised Land” and were constantly giving the Hebrew people trouble. The Israelite spies described the Nephilim as GIANTS, and they described themselves as tiny GRASSHOPPERS in comparison to the GIANT Nephilim (Numbers 13:32-33). They also noticed how the giants DEVOURED the land. Again, these giants were very evil. The Nephilim were even known to be present all the way into King David’s day (1 Samuel 17:3-7). We can also infer that the Nephilim were very present, much earlier than the days of King David, in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah, when the people embraced all types of violence and immorality and sexual deviancy. Similar to the days of Noah, Sodom and Gomorrah were so depraved that God decided to destroy both cities (Genesis 19:23-26). In fact, Jude 1:6 -7 seems to confirm that there were Nephilim present during Sodom and Gomorah when Jude (Jesus’ brother) connects the destruction of these cities to the fallen angels and the Nephillim.
Below is a picture the giant gate of Gath that was found in a recent archeological dig. Gath was the home of the Philistine giant Goliath who was killed by King David when he was a boy, with just a slingshot and a stone. There have also been pictures of giant skeletons found in archeological digs shown on the internet, but the “fact checkers” claim those are fake and not real. I have no idea if the archeological pictures of giant skulls and bones that have been unearthed are real, but the Bible makes it very clear that there WERE giant, hybrid beings living on the earth in the days before the flood, and also after, all the way up to King David’s day about 1000BC. The Bible does seem to indicate that as the centuries passed, the Nephilim got “smaller”. During the days of Moses, when Israel wandered in the wilderness, King of Og of Bashan was about 13 feet tall. He was the last of the Bashan, so they may have been even taller when Israel first ran into them in the wilderness. But, by the time of the Divided Kingdom of Israel, in about 1000BC, the giant Goliath was reported to be 9 feet tall. So it is conceivable that if a Nephilim (“ancient alien”) showed up today, they could be a size more comparable to a human.
Deuteronomy 3:11:King Og was the last of the Rephaim. His coffin, made of stone, was six feet wide and almost fourteen feet long, according to standard measurements. It can still be seen in the Ammonite city of Rabbah.)
King David’s slaying of the Philistine Giant in 1 Samuel 17 with a sling is a metaphor today of overcoming incredible odds. And today archaeologists are also uncovering evidence the city and the giants living there were very real.
They are considered the largest set of gates ever found, perhaps fitting for a city known for its giants. At this point they have just uncovered the top of the gates and massive walls and it will take several years to fully uncover the gates. However, the size of stones at the top suggest the walls were massive.
Numbers 13:32 So they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size. 33 There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”
Jude 1: 6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
Jesus tells us that the Last Days will be like the Days of Noah and the days of Lot. What was going on in the days of Noah and Lot?
Luke 17:22 And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 They will say to you, ‘Look there! Look here!’ Do not go away, and do not run after them. 24 For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 And just as it happened in the DAYS OF NOAH so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 It was the same as happened in the DAYS OF LOT: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
It seems pretty obvious that Jesus is telling His Disciples (and us) that in the Last Days, the days of His Return, sin and immorality will be RAMPANT. Jesus also appears to make the case for the last days being “business as usual” with the “eating, drinking, buying and selling, planting and building”. But is Jesus also giving us another clue by HIGHLIGHTING the two times in HIS STORY where God found the inhabitants of the land to be so evil, that they were completely irredeemable and had to be destroyed by God’s own Hand? COULD God be speaking of the supernatural and EVIL union between fallen angels and man that was occurring both in the days of Noah and in the days of Lot? Is it POSSIBLE that in the Last Days, the days of the Son of Man, we could see SUPERNATURAL things, “lying signs and wonders” that could INCLUDE the Nephilim? Is it POSSIBLE that the Nephilim could reappear? We know that the antichrist will be supernaturally indwelt by satan himself. Will we also see Nephilim? Is this even possible?
Of course, this is one of those creepier thoughts that most of us do not even want to consider. The idea of “fallen angels” or hybrid offspring walking around the earth alongside of mankind sounds creepy and like some kind of crazy science fiction blockbuster movie. But we KNOW that the Great Deception, the deluding influence that will deceive the very elect if that were possible will include SIGNS and WONDERS, possibly similar to those of the Egyptian magicians. Consider this recent article in Fox News that literally details how the American Government is NOW admitting that UFOs (Unidentified flying objects) are REAL! Really? “Those of us who grew up in the 1980s may remember the movie “Final Countdown,” a fanciful “what if” scenario in which the mighty USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is mysteriously transported back in time to World War II.
In the movie, Japanese Zeros encounter state-of-the-art, supersonic F-14 Tomcats, and as one might imagine, the lopsided matchup makes for an amusing movie and some very frightened Japanese fighter pilots.
But what if the reverse were the case? What would the movie feel like if the USS Nimitz suddenly disappeared into the future instead of the past? What if the pilots flying the Tomcats were suddenly engaging hyper-futuristic craft that toyed with them in the way that a cat plays with a mouse?
The paradox
In December 2017, much of the world was stunned to learn that pilots from the USS Nimitz encountered something eerily similar to the above scenario back in 2004, while conducting an exercise off of the sunny, southern coast of California. Just like a script from a science fiction movie, Top Gun-trained fighter pilots from the Nimitz were unfairly engaged with and attempting to intercept something that could only be described as extraordinary.
What the pilots encountered that day was able to perform in ways that defied all logic and our current understanding of aerodynamics. Furthermore, beyond what the pilots saw with their own trained eye, the technological feat they encountered was further verified by the impressive Aegis SPY-1 radar, America’s premiere radar system at the time, and even gun camera footage and sonar systems from submarines accompanying the carrier.
So far, we have observed some of its capabilities, but we still have no idea of its intent. From that perspective, this unorthodox challenge may still be considered a potential threat.
Was this a case of life imitating art? No one really knows, but more than one publication was able to independently verify that these incidents, along with many others, were officially reported to the Pentagon’s own secretive program called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), which was tasked with trying to decode the mystery of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP).
Equally shocking to most was the fact that these incidents were not isolated and continued for at least a decade later and involved other carrier battle groups around the world.
As the American people became increasingly aware that this was not a plot for a science fiction movie but were real events, the U.S. government was forced to respond.
The unorthodox
The American military complex is arguably the world’s greatest institution at responding to threats. This is true on the battlefields, cyberspace, and even in outer space. If there is one thing we are good at, it is developing technologies to counter any threats in order to maintain our dominance. So why are we so utterly unprepared to address something that can easily out-maneuver our best-in-class pilots, in our very own tightly controlled airspace?
Part of the reason is because these anomalous systems can perform in ways that are not only beyond our own capabilities, but far surpass our current understanding of aerodynamics and physics! Where do you start when every rule you’ve been taught to live by has been broken?
Further complicating this enigma is the fact that it remains an ill-defined threat. Not to imply that UAPs are an implicit threat to our national security, but it is prudent that we recognize that anything that can perform with these characteristics could certainly pose a threat should it choose to do so.
As such, it is imperative for our national security apparatus to further understand what these things are and where they are from. Our leaders need to have the courage to ask the question, did a foreign adversary just leapfrog ahead of the U.S.? Or is this something else?

U.S. IN UFO RACE WITH CHINA, RUSSIA, FORMER SENATE MAJORITY LEADER SUGGESTS – 2019
Former Democratic Senate Majority Leader and Nevada Senator Harry Reid argued for continued study into UFO phenomena in an interview with CBS affiliate KLAS 8 in Las Vegas, citing competition from Russia and China—a UFO race, of sorts.
“I’ll bet you anything that China is spending some money checking this out. I’ll bet you anything KGB Putin is spending some money checking this out,” Reid told George Knapp of Las Vegas Now’s I-Team.
“Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid dropped major hints that he knows potential adversaries, Russia and China, have carried out their own military studies to figure out how UFOs work and how to build their own,” Knapp said during the broadcast, citing anonymous Pentagon sources to claim dozens of UFOs have been encountered off the coast of Florida and Virginia in the last three years.
Reid said he understands why officials within the Pentagon and other possible research avenues within the U.S. government might be skeptical about dedicating resources to studying Unexplained Aerial Phenomena (UAP), but he also seemed to unwittingly undercut his own position by alluding to a rash of recent UFO sightings prompted by scheduled SpaceX launches.
“This has been going on for a long time. These sightings are said to have been set off by a rocket in California or something. People do not want—people in responsibility, whether it’s the Pentagon or whatever it might be—they don’t want to have to try to explain something that’s, many times, not explainable,” Reid said.
The interview with Reid also delved into classified UFO studies conducted by the Pentagon and revealed by The New York Times in 2017, including the Advanced Aerospace Weapons Systems Application Program (AAWSAP), which catalogued sightings by military personnel, such as the “Tic Tac” UFO captured on camera by F/A-18F fighter jets off the coast of California in 2004.
Through AAWSAP, the Defense Intelligence Agency awarded a $10 million contract to Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), owned by hotel billionaire Robert Bigelow, a close friend of Reid’s who has a long history of investigating the UFO phenomena.
Mainstream media is NOW telling us that the US, Russia, and China are in a “UFO Race”. It just doesn’t get any weirder than that…or does it? The Mainstream media REFUSE to talk about Jesus Christ, they avoid talking about Christians; however, during certain holidays they may sometimes refer to Christians by other names such as “Easter Worshipers”, they will NOT whisper a hint about the Bible (unless it’s in a negative context), and SOME have been known to call people who say that they hear from Jesus “mentally unstable” (Joy Behar of the View), BUT they’re MORE than HAPPY to speak about the REALITY of ALIEN SPACECRAFTS from another planet.
Pope Francis said that he would baptize aliens (Martians)! 😱What we’re saying is that any “aliens” that may potentially show up on earth are likely to be Nephilim, who are NOT made in the image of YHWH. Nephilim are NOT redeemable which is why the Israelites were told to wipe them out in the Promised Land. “Pope Francis said in his morning mass on Monday that if Martians came to him asking to be baptized he wouldn’t turn them away, Vatican radio reports.
The pope’s message was one of inclusion, saying the Holy Spirit is not always predictable. He told a story from the Acts of Apostles in which Peter observes a group of non-Christians receiving the Holy Spirit. Other Christians later criticize Peter for consorting with these people, to which Pope Francis responded:

Pope Francis is not the first one to hint at alien baptism. Vatican scientist Guy Consolmagno suggested in 2010 that aliens might have souls and could be baptized if they asked for it.

Senators Receive Briefing on Naval Encounters With UFOs: June 20, 2019
The classified information comes after President Donald Trump confirmed he had been briefed on the matter.
SEVERAL SENATORS HAVE received a classified briefing from the Pentagon detailing reported encounters by the Navy with UFOs.
Government officials familiar with the situation told Politico that three senators, including Mark Warner of Virginia, the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, received the classified information.
Warner’s spokesperson Rachel Cohen told the outlet that the potential encounters could pose safety concerns and need to be looked into.
“If naval pilots are running into unexplained interference in the air, that’s a safety concern Senator Warner believes we need to get to the bottom of,” Cohen said.
According to Politico, officials have interviewed multiple current and former sailors and aviators who claim to have seen advanced aircraft that seem to defy the laws of aerodynamics when they enter protected military airspace.
It was revealed in 2017 that Sen. Harry Reid of Nevada requested the Pentagon establish a program to study the issue. President Donald Trump confirmed to ABC News last week that he has been briefed on the matter but doesn’t particularly believe in UFOs.

These are my musings, NOT a “thus sayeth the Lord“…. Let’s try WHAT IF…..
- WHAT IF...The Nephilim survived the flood because they had advanced technology that allowed them to “fly” above the earth? Some believe that the Nephilim did have advanced technology that they used to build the ancient Egyptian pyramids among other things. Did they have a hand in on helping build the Tower of Babel and other Pyramid shaped Zigurats? Isn’t it interesting that Pyramids (pagan shrines) have been found all over the world, not just the Middle East?
- WHAT IF..The “alien spacecrafts” that are apparently being sighted by ship captains, military pilots, civilian pilots and others are not really from alien beings from another planet, but are actually from the Nephilim.
- WHAT IF....Governments of this world are very aware of these “alien beings” or Nephilim, have been in contact with them, and are now openly stating to the public that “alien spacecrafts” DO EXIST because the elite of the world know that these “aliens” (who are really Nephilim/children of the fallen angels) are about to make their “appearance” on the world stage (as in the days of Noah and Lot). - Jesus not only warned us that the last days would be like the days of Noah and Lot, He also told us that there would be great “signs in the skies” and there would be “fearful sights” (Luke 21:10-11).

IF something like this is the PROPHESIED GREAT DELUSION, then the Good news is that those who follow JESUS as the MESSIAH now, who have given their lives to Jesus NOW, may very well be taken in the Rapture before these beings initially make their appearance. However, (as strange as this sounds) if we were to be here to witness the arrival of “alien beings” and the governments and medias of the world fawning over them, then we should understand and REMEMBER that Jesus prophesied of a very strong deluding influence, one that includes SUPERNATURAL LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS, that would deceive even the very elect, if that were possible. We need to RECOGNIZE that all who love the lies of the world over the truth of the Bible are much more likely to be deceived by ANY strong delusion that is presented. We need to have a better understanding of our TRUE HISTORICAL PAST so that we can understand what MAY BE COMING in the FUTURE. God declares the END out of the BEGINNING (Isaiah 46:10), which is why the enemy has done a very deliberate job of changing, altering, and HIDING the words of God so that people believe in the LIE of evolution and the MYRIAD of LIES about the ORIGINS of mankind over the TRUTH of the CREATION STORY. Those who love these lies, who believe them, will be much more likely to fall for the GREAT DECEPTION, the LYING SIGNS AND WONDERS that will be displayed by the enemy at the time of the end. As for me, if any “aliens” just “show up” in these last days, I will assume that they are NEPHILIM and not alien beings from another planet.

Jeremy Corbell, the filmmaker behind the UFO documentary “Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers,” posted a video that was allegedly recorded from the Combat Information Center of the USS Omaha off the coast of San Diego. In the 14-second video clip posted to social media on Thursday, a swarm of at least 14 unidentified flying objects were spotted on radar circling the Independence-class littoral combat ship.
“Holy s***! They’re moving fast…They’re turning around,” an unidentified man is heard saying as the unidentified craft reached a speed of 158 mph after traveling only 46 mph earlier. Then one of the unidentified aerial phenomena splashed into the Pacific Ocean. The Navy deployed a submarine to track the object, but no wreckage was discovered. The Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force is investigating the latest UFO video.
Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough told the Daily Caller, “We’re looking into it.” Gough confirmed, “The video was taken by Navy personnel, and that the UAPTF included it in their ongoing examinations.”
Corbell has released several videos taken by U.S. Navy personnel, some of which have been authenticated by the Pentagon.
Earlier this month, Corbell released a video of another UAP encounter with the U.S. Navy. The Pentagon confirmed that footage of a “spherical” UFO flying off the coast of California near the USS Omaha is authentic. The UFO was believed to be a transmedium vehicle, a craft that is capable of traveling in air and water.
In April, Corbell released a UFO video of a triangle-shaped object hovering over the USS Russell while sailing off the coast of San Diego. The Pentagon confirmed that the pyramid-shaped UAP footage from 2019 was genuine.
“These are authentic photos and video from actual military encounters with UFOs – generated to educate high-level intelligence officers within our military on the nature and presentation of the UAP / UFO phenomenon,” Corbell wrote on his Extraordinary Beliefs website.
U.S. intelligence agencies are expected to release what they know about UFOs to Congress next month. Last December, former President Donald Trump signed the federal omnibus spending bill, which included a provision that the Pentagon must reveal what they know about UAPs. The Office of Naval Intelligence and its Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force are “required to present senators on intelligence and armed services committees.” The government agencies have until June 25 to reveal their findings of the UFOs.
In March, former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe gave a preview of the upcoming UAP report, in which he said some of the UFO sightings are “difficult to explain.”
“There are instances where we don’t have good explanations for some of the things that we’ve seen, and when that information becomes declassified, I’ll be able to talk a little bit more about that,” Ratcliffe said.
