With the Covid 19 Pandemic wreaking havoc on the global economy and FREEDOM of movement, many people are naturally beginning to LOOK UP to Heaven for answers. God always brings good out of what was meant for evil. Does the Bible speak of a global pandemic? Could this Pandemic indicate that we are in the last days? Has Jesus begun to open the seals of Revelation?
Most Bible Scholars teach the following steps in end-time prophecy.
- Rapture of the Church (Rev. 4)
- Signing of a 7-year Peace Treaty (Dan. 9:27)
- Birth pains of the 2nd coming that include the opening of the seals of Revelation (Rev. 6). The seals would be opened during the first 3.5 years of the seven-year tribulation.
- The opening of the 7th seal of Revelation and then the Trumpet blasts of God’s wrath during the final 3.5 years of ‘Great Tribulation”.
- Battle of Armageddon with the opening of the 7th seal, and then the return of Jesus Christ.
Everything that is written WILL come to pass, but it may not (and likely won’t) come to pass in a way that is expected. The Jewish people MISSED Jesus’ first coming, because He came in a way that was different than what the religious scholars of His day taught. We don’t want to repeat this mistake.
Birth pains of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
In Matthew 24, Jesus Disciples asked Him a very important question. What will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age? Jesus listed a series of “signs” to look for that would indicate He is at the door, soon to return. He likened these signs to BIRTH PAINS. (Matthew 24:8)
Matthew 24:3: As He (Jesus) was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
- Deception
- Apostasy in the Church
- Lawlessness
- Ethnos rising against Ethnos (race wars)
- Kingdom against Kingdom (wars and rumors of war)
- Famines
- Earthquakes
- Signs in the sun, moon, and stars
The rationale behind Jesus’ comparison of these signs to birth pains lies in the nature of the birthing process. Initially, a woman’s contractions tend to be less intense, spaced apart, and manageable; however, as the moment of birth approaches, these contractions become increasingly frequent and more agonizing. This analogy applies similarly to end-time events.
The majority of these “birth pains” have persisted since the Fall of Man. However, as we draw nearer to the end of this age and the second coming of Jesus Christ, these birth pangs will intensify in frequency and severity, offering minimal respite between each occurrence.
Biblical Scholars have observed a notable resemblance between the birth pangs mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 24 and the opening of the seals of Revelation in REVELATION 6.

This observation raises the question of whether it is mere coincidence. 🤔
Timing of the opening of the seals of Revelation
The two criteria believed to precede the opening of the seals of Revelation.
Criteria #1: The Rapture of the Church
Much of the Church believes that the Rapture MUST occur BEFORE the opening of the first seal. In-fact, nearly all Christians who believe in the pre-Tribulation Rapture believe that the Rapture will occur BEFORE the first seal is opened.
There are good, Biblical reasons for the belief that the Rapture will occur before the opening of the first seal of Revelation. In Revelation 4, John is called up to Heaven through an OPEN DOOR so that he can see what will take place “after these things”. Most believers of the pre-Tribulation Rapture see the open-door imagery as a metaphor for the catching away of the Church.
Although we also BELIEVE in a pre-Tribulation Rapture, we think it is POSSIBLE that the Rapture may happen in an unexpected or unanticipated way!
On this blog, we have shared a THEORY or POSSIBILITY of HOW the Rapture COULD unfold that is different than what you have likely heard. It will unfold exactly as written and yet may not be at all as the vast majority of Evangelical Christians EXPECT. For more on this “new theory”, please check out our post titled “The Rapture”.
The Rapture – Life in a Dying World
IF the Rapture does unfold in an unexpected way, then it is very possible that Christians could still be here when Jesus begins to open the seals. Time will tell.
Criteria #2: the antichrist’s 7-year Peace Treaty
The majority of Evangelical Christians believe that after the Church is Raptured, the antichrist will sign a 7-year peace treaty with Israel kicking off the seven-year Tribulation. Jesus Christ would then begin to open the 7 seals of Revelation AFTER the signing of the peace treaty. the assumption is that there must be a signed peace treaty before the seven-year tribulation can begin.
What does the Bible say?
The book of Daniel in the Old Testament (Tanakh) is a companion to the book of Revelation in the New Testament (B’rit Chadashah), with its very similar imagery, visions, and apocalyptic language.
The book of Daniel is the only place in the Bible that details a final seven-year period that most people call “The seven-year Tribulation”. This seven-year period is NOT mentioned in the book of Revelation, but many believe it is IMPLIED.
Although no specific timeframe is indicated in Revelation pertaining to the opening of the Seals, it is IMPLIED that this event takes place during the initial half of the final seven years (seven-year tribulation). This inference arises from the evident correlation between Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 6:12-17, particularly concerning the sixth seal.
In the book of Daniel (Daniel 9:27), we find that the final 7 years will begin when the antichrist makes firm or confirms a Covenant with “the many” for seven years. The “Confirmation of the Covenant” kicks off mankind’s final 7 years of self-rule on earth.
Daniel 9:27: And he (tfj: most believe the “he” in this verse is the antichrist) will make a firm (CONFIRM) covenant with the many for one week (tfj: 7 years), but in the middle of the week (tfj: 3.5 year mark) he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”
Notice what Daniel 9:27 (above) does NOT say. Daniel 9:27 does NOT say that the antichrist will SIGN a 7-year PEACE TREATY. There is no mention of any SIGNING of a contract.
What Daniel 9:27 DOES SAY is that “he” (tfj: likely the antichrist) will confirm a covenant or agreement with “the many” (tfj: potentially Israel/the Arab League or the international community), which will INITIATE a time period of “one week,” most commonly interpreted by scholars as seven literal years. This seven-year period, as depicted in Daniel 9:27, is segmented into two halves, with the antichrist halting the “sacrifices and grain offerings” and setting up the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION at the midpoint (the 3.5-year mark).
The confirmation of the Covenant that kicks off the final 7 years may NOT be a SIGNED peace treaty, AS MANY EXPECT. How is a Covenant confirmed? In the Old Testament, Covenants were often confirmed by sharing a sacrificial meal. Biblical covenants are also confirmed with blood. (Cutting of the covenant – Abrahamic Covenant/Mosaic Covenant/New Covenant).
This period of seven years finally ENDS with the DECREED destruction of the antichrist. It is safe to assume that this Covenant will have something to do with Israel because that is who Daniel was concerned about…”his people”.
Timing of the Seals of Revelation: Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24, Revelation 6
Matthew 24 indicates that the Abomination of Desolation is positioned in the Holy Place at the MIDPOINT OF THE WEEK (FINAL 7 YEARS). We know this to be true because in Matthew 24, Jesus said, “When you SEE the abomination of desolation SPOKEN OF BY DANIEL THE PROPHET”, let the reader understand. By referring the reader back to Daniel 9:27, Jesus seems to be telling us that the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION occurs in the MIDDLE of the final seven years of Tribulation.
Daniel 9:27: And he (tfj: Antichrist) will confirm a covenant with the many for one week (tfj: seven years), but in the middle of the week (tfj: At the 3.5 year mark) he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come the one who makes desolate😈, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate.”
Matthew 24: 15: “Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation😈 which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place—let the reader understand— 16 then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains. 21 For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will again.
Subsequently, in Matthew 24, AFTER THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION that occurs at the mid-point of the seven-year Tribulation, we observe the sun being darkened🌆, the moon failing to provide its light🌑, and the stars descending from the heavens🌠. This imagery closely parallels that found in Revelation 6, particularly during the sixth seal.
Matthew 24:29: “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened🌆, and the moon will not give its light🌑, and the stars will fall from the sky🌠, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast🎺, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds🍃, from one end of the sky to the other. (tfj: RAPTURE/catching away??)
Revelation 6:12 And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair🌆, and the whole moon became like blood🌑; 13 and the stars of the sky fell to the earth🌠, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind.
14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. 🍃 (tfj: RAPTURE/catching away??)
Consequently, it can be asserted that by the time the sixth seal of Revelation is reached, the initial 3.5 years of the seven-year Tribulation, which begins with the CONFIRMATION of a Covenant of Peace, will have come to an end.
This makes it HIGHLY LIKELY that the Seals of Revelation BEGIN TO OPEN when the Covenant is CONFIRMED, kicking off the FIRST 3.5 years of the seven-year Tribulation.
A signed seven-year contract is not required to initiate the final seven years of humanity’s self-governance on Earth. The CONFIRMATION of a Covenant with “the many” serves as the catalyst for these last seven years. This Covenant or agreement need not explicitly state that it is a “seven-year contract or Covenant”; however, that is the duration allotted by God for its fulfillment.
How close are we to the final 7 years?
Hmmm…Has there been any activity in Israel regarding a Proposal for Peace? On June 26, 2019, the economic portion of the “Deal of the Century was presented at a conference with MANY NATIONS in Bahrain. The Proposal was finalized, or the political portion was announced by both Israel and the United States on January 28, 2020. Israel has accepted the Proposal.
Is it POSSIBLE that THE COVENANT from Daniel 9:27 is Trump’s “Deal of the Century”?
Didn’t the Corona virus become a global event just after January 28, 2020? As a matter of fact, approximately 40 days after President Trump announced the Peace Proposal, the Covid became a huge problem for the United States and the world. In the Bible, the number 40 often represents trials and tests. If this period of “40 days” represented a trial or test for the United States, a time given by God for the country and the world to REPENT…it appears as though we’ve failed. President Trump declared a National Emergency on FRIDAY March 13th, only 43 days after the Proposal was announced.
The completion of 70 years for Israel is very significant in Bible Prophecy!
Also interesting is that the economic portion of the Proposal for peace was presented in Bahrain 43 days after Israel COMPLETED her 70th year in the land on May 14, 2019. (Jeremiah 25, Jeremiah 29).
Some Bible teachers maintain that the prophecy of seventy years given to the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled thousands of years ago when God judged the nation of Babylon!
What was, will be again! God TEACHES His people through patterns and cycles. Many Biblical prophecies have BOTH a “then time” fulfillment AND an “end time” fulfillment.
‘Jeremiah 25: 12: Then it will be when seventy years are completed I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation,’ declares the Lord, ‘for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it an everlasting desolation.
13 I will bring upon that land all My words which I have pronounced against it, all that is written in this book which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations. 14 (For many nations and great kings will make slaves of them, even them; and I will recompense them according to their deeds and according to the work of their hands.)’”
Jeremiah 29: 10 “For thus says the Lord, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. 11 For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
14 I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
When 70 years are completed: At the end of days God will render judgment on Babylon, which represents the world’s Babylonian system – MYSTERY BABYLON – REV. 17). Simultaneously, God will fulfill His promises to Israel, the chosen people, by delivering them from exile, which may extend beyond mere geographical exile from the land of Israel to possibly include a return from the Garden of Eden. Might this be a reference to the resurrection, transformation, and the rapture?
We want to make this clear before we continue. Even if the Proposal for Peace, the “ABRAHAM ACCORDS” is THE Covenant from Daniel 9:27, we do NOT believe that Donald Trump is the antichrist! The antichrist has not been revealed yet. The Bible says the antichrist CONFIRMS the Covenant (makes it firm), it doesn’t say he INITIATES it.
If the ABRAHAM ACCORDS is THE COVENANT from Daniel 9:27, then the timeframe must be SOON.
World Events: Signs of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ
Even if Jesus HASN’T begun opening the seals of Revelation, we can clearly see STORM CLOUDS GATHERING and hear the HOOFPRINTS preparing to MARCH. ⛈️

SINAI, EGYPT (November 13, 2022) — Leaders of various religions and religious organizations gathered to repent of their alleged “climate” sins and usher in what they described as a new, universal “Ten Commandments.” Gathered in Sharm El Sheikh and cities around the world amid the United Nations COP27 Climate Change Summit in Egypt, representatives of major Christian and Islamic denominations joined forces with all manner of pagans and heathens to unveil what they hope will be the new and improved moral code of the future.
After worldwide criticism, the new Ten Commandments were re-framed as “Ten Principles of Climate Repentance.” Critics still ridiculed the movement, joking that these religious leaders were hitching their wagons to what many scientists and experts have referred to as the discredited climate “religion” or even “cult.” But the events and the move toward a united global religious movement organized around “Mother Earth” are no laughing matter. 🏇🏻💀😈

While some of the religious antics took place on the Sinai Peninsula, many of the festivities were held in London and Jerusalem after security concerns reportedly led Egyptian authorities to withhold permission for the original plan.
A key organizer of the global call for climate “repentance,” Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew — dubbed the “Green Patriarch” — issued a public statement denouncing the “abuse of nature and the exploitation of its resources” as a “sin against God … and the gift of creation.” In a press release about the effort, organizers said they hoped it “will inspire the people to act modestly and carry out actions for climate justice.”

- Creation manifests divinity
- Everything in life is interconnected
- Do no harm (This phrase is commonly used in witchcraft)
- Look after tomorrow
- Rise above ego for our world
- Change our inner climate
- Repent and return
- Every action matters
- Use mind, open heart
Birth pangs start out slow and grow in frequency and intensity. Even if Jesus Christ isn’t yet opening the seals of Revelation, recent world events indicate that we are seeing signs HIS 2nd coming!

Dream from the Lord on 3/4/2022
As an encouragement, I’d like to share a dream that I believe the Lord gave me a few nights ago (3/4/2022). With all dreams and visions, please pray for discernment…
In the dream, was being honored for something that I would have considered extremely small. It was a small kindness shown to someone. I have read that even the smallest kindness shown to someone on earth is a big deal in Heaven. Apparently, this was the case in this dream. Never in my imagination would one be honored for something this small, but what seems small to us is perhaps a big deal in Heaven.
There was someone with me (isn’t there always in these kind of dreams), who I believe is the Holy Spirit🕊️. The enemy found out about this “honor” and attacked. He used two weapons…the first, I can’t remember, but the second was like a huge, nuclear bomb. He would not only attack me (and the person with me)…but also anyone who was around me. He comes to kill, steal, and destroy.
In the dream, at first was afraid, and then remembered God’s Holy Spirit was with me🕊️. I called upon the Holy Spirit, holding my hands up in the air🙌. There was a great, yet invisible wind. The weapon was launched, and it appeared to me as a “great burning mountain”…being cast to the earth. It appeared like fire in the air, like a missile, like a nuclear explosion💣. But when it met the wind🕊️, it began to shrink, and the fire went out, and by the time it landed next to me, it was nothing more than a tiny pebble which I picked up between my index finger and thumb and flicked harmlessly away. Nobody around me was hurt. It came to nothing.
