Daniel set his heart

We live in a time of great turmoil and change. When I look out at the world today, I barely recognize it. It is not the same world that I grew up in…no, it’s much, much worse. The Babylonian values that have always been present are now in plain view, not even trying to hide. What is evil is now called good and what is good is called evil. We live during the time of “great exchange”.

Isaiah 5:20: Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

How do we navigate through these murky waters without getting washed away in their muddy waves? The only way to survive these rocky, tumultous seas of filthy water is to anchor ourselves to the TRUTH of God’s Word. Otherwise we will be tossed to and fro with the waves.

As a child of the 70’s and 80’s, I grew up in a Christian nation (United States), one in which nearly everyone I knew was Christian, of some denomination or another. Judeo Christian values were the norm, the generally accepted values of a civilized society. Judeo-Christian Values have a foundational role in America, beginning with the Declaration of Independence:

 “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men (people) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…”

America’s Founding Fathers separated church from state, but they wisely did not separate God from state; they acknowledged God as the source of our rights, and, in fact, they were careful to place Biblical morality directly into our founding documents and laws, and into our values and culture precisely to help prevent a future of totalitarian or tyrannical rule in America.  There was and still is a connection between God and Liberty; He is the author of it. 

However, even while the United States was growing into a “world superpower”, and at the same time was being used as God’s primary instrument in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, dark forces have been at work behind the scenes intending to (“fundementally change”)/DESTROY AMERICA and ISRAEL. With America and Israel out of the way, Judeo Christian values maligned and removed, their goal of an antichrist, global totalitarian regime could finally be realized. This has been the plan for many decades, and it appears as though they are close to reaching their goal.

When we say “they“, we’re talking about the creepy, illuminati shadow government of the world, the “deep state”, who worships satan, and desires his antichrist kingdom. These are your Rockefellers, your skull and bones members, some very, very wealthy and powerful people.

How do they FUNDEMENTALY CHANGE AMERICA FROM A CHRISTIAN NATION TO SOMETHING ELSE ENTIRELY?

There is a powerful technique called the Overton Window that can shape our lives, our laws, and our future. It works by manipulating public perception so that ideas previously thought of as radical begin to seem acceptable over time. Move the “Window” and you change the debate. Change the debate and you change the country.

It was only a single decade ago that homosexual marriage was considered taboo in our Judeo/Christian society. Proposition 8 , passed into law in California in 2008, banned same sex marriages in that state – THE most liberal state in the United States. At that time, most major politicians including Joe Biden and Barack Obama, claimed to be strongly opposed to gay marriage because it violated the Biblical definition of marriage. But boy have they changed their tune, letting us know that their “opposition” was due to popular perception and not their true convictions. Why the change? Because, with the MEDIA’S HELP, they were successful at moving THE OVERTON WINDOW. Even most churches today are not standing with the Bible, but are “moving with the times”. The Bible calls WORLDLINESS apostasy, which was prophesied to happen at the end of time in 2nd Thessalonians.

2 Thessalonians 2:3: No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

It’s not just homosexuality that has been mainstreamed. Satan has been very clever, taking as much time as he needed, to slowly move the Overton Window AWAY from Judeo/Christian BIBLICAL values TO Babylonian values.

1. Fornication – Listed as a sin in the Bible, was done in secret, now widely accepted and embraced.
2. Materialism – A Biblical sin, now embraced by both the world and the Church (prosperity gospel)
3. Self glorification – Pride is a Biblical sin, today’s world loves “the selfie” /”You do you”, STEPS FOR SUCCESS.
4. MORAL RELATIVISM – replacing ABSOLUTE TRUTH. “What is true for you may not be true for me”
5. Homosexuality – A sin in both the Old and New Testament, now embraced as a “CIVIL RIGHT” and “RIGHTEOUS LIFESTYLE” under the the lgbtq agenda.
6. COMMUNISM /NANNY STATE – replacing CAPITALISM and HARD WORK
7. LAWLESSNESS – Riots, civil unrest, looting and stealing – PROMOTED as meaningful ways to effect change, replacing the Biblical value of respecting and loving one’s neighbor as self.
8. Ecumenism – replacing the Great Commission – Instead of Christians sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, many are now advocating Ecumenism, NOT ONLY between Christian denominations, but also between religions and their “different gods”….even going so far as to say that we all worship the same God – BLASPHEMY!

These are just a FEW of the Biblical values that have been PURPOSELY ERODED by the creepy shadow government of the world as they SLOWLY MOVE the Overton Window to MANIPULATE the WAY people think. They UTILIZE their MONOPOLY on the MEDIA, the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, EDUCATION, SOCIAL MEDIA, ETC to INFLUENCE OPINIONS and MOVE the window of what is acceptable.

The ironic thing is that many people THINK that these values they are moving us into are new and progressive when really they are the same old antichrist, Babylonian values of days gone by when evil, totalitarian “kings” ruled.

One of the devil’s greatest schemes is to convince people to move away from God because he knows that God will then remove His Hand of protection from the people. As more and more people “jump on board” and begin to shun, mock and ridicule Biblical values as narrow minded, bigoted, and ugly...they do not realize that they are embracing satanic values and will soon have a very heavy YOKE tied to their necks. They are SHEEP being led to the SLAUGHTER.

So what can we do? How can we follow God while living among a crooked and perverse generation?

God has given us incredible instruction in HIS WORD on how to navigate these murky waters.

One of my favorite characters in the Bible is the man named Daniel. Daniel’s story is the story of an exile. He was an unwilling immigrant who was forcibly removed from his homeland of Israel, across almost 1000 miles of desert, probably roped or chained to several other Israeli’s, possibly after witnessing the death of his parents when the Babylonians conquered the nation of Judah in 606 B.C. He was only a TEENAGER when he was taken into exile.

Daniel was forcibly taken FROM Israel TO Babylon, where he witnessed Babylonian values, the same promiscuous, lascivious, selfish values that are overtaking our world today.

Daniel 1: ³ Then the king told Ashpenaz, the chief of his officials, to bring in some of the sons of Israel, including some of the royal family and of the nobles, ⁴ youths in whom there was no impairment, who were good-looking, suitable for instruction in every kind of expertise, endowed with understanding and discerning knowledge, and who had ability to serve in the king’s court; and he ordered Ashpenaz to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans.

⁵ The king also allotted for them a daily ration from the king’s choice food and from the wine which he drank, and ordered that they be educated for three years, at the end of which they were to enter the king’s personal service

The devil uses the same tricks and techniques that he has always used against God’s people. He took the best, the brightest, the best-looking YOUTHS and proceeded to INDOCTRINATE them. They were taken from their homes and offered all of the pleasures of BABYLON. Once properly “TRAINED” (INDOCTRINATED), they would be SUITABLE for the King’s personal service. It was the carrot and the stick. If they REFUSED this “generous” offer…..they would die.

TEMPTATION, INDOCTRINATION, FEAR AND INTIMIDATION…it was all being thrown at Daniel and his friends, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, who had been RIPPED away from their families and forced into exile in Babylon. How EASY it would have been for these TEENAGERS to submit to this temptation and authority. I can imagine that in the Babylonian society, the Jews would have been maligned as “narrow minded, bigots” who would only worship ONE GOD, when the pantheon of gods was considered “stylish” and “cool”…even “patriotic”. In their indoctrination, the Babylonians went so far as to RENAME these young men from their HEBREW names to Babylonian names. Daniel (which means God is judge) was renamed Belteshazzar; and his friends were named Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednigo.

These young men were being offered THE WORLD.

Mark 8:36: For what does it benefit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?

How did Daniel and his friends respond?

Daniel 1: ⁸ But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

Those words “Daniel purposed in his heart” set the theme for Daniel’s entire life. Daniel is the ultimate example of a Godly man (or woman) surviving in a world dominated by pagan religion and ungodly politics. The portion of the king’s meat and wine mentioned in this verse refers to food offered to idols, unclean according to the Mosaic Covenant. Daniel purposed in his heart to DENY HIMSELF and follow God, no matter the cost.

Daniel was a man of conviction— he stood strong, feet planted firmly within God’s will for his life and within His commands and statutes. Through his conviction, Daniel strove do what was good and right per God’s standards, which always represent true goodness.

Deuteronomy 6:18: And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers.

Daniel’s conviction was IMMEDIATELY tested.

As Daniel STOOD for God, God gave Daniel FAVOR. Daniel had favor with the pagan king Nebuchadnezzar, with his court, and with many, many people.

Daniel 1:9: Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.

¹² Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink. ¹³ Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. ¹⁴ So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days. ¹⁵ And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.

After the young Hebrew men passed the “10 day test” (they looked GOOD and HEALTHY after their 10 day fast), God granted them special abilities that would prove very useful to their Captors and very beneficial for them.

Daniel 1:17:  As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

God REWARDS FAITHFULNESS.

Was it easy for Daniel and his friends? No. They were tested many times, but God was with them. Daniel’s friends Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo were thrown into a fiery furnace because they REFUSED to bow down to a golden statue of King Nebuchadnezzar. This furnace was an industrial furnace that was set to be seven times hotter than normal. The servant who put them into the furnace died just getting close to it. But….Daniel’s three friends survived and thrived in the fiery furnace. “neither were their clothes singed nor did their hair smell like smoke.“

Daniel 3: ²³ And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

²⁴ Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.

²⁵ He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

²⁶ Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. ²⁷ And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

When King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the furnace, he saw not only Daniel’s three friends, but also a fourth man like THE SON OF GOD. Most theologians believe this was a Christophany, or a pre-incarnate Christ (Jesus), who appeared in several places in the Old Testament (Tanakh).

Daniel’s three friends survived the fiery furnace, with the help of THE FOURTH “MAN” (JESUS CHRIST), and were even given PROMOTIONS in the King’s court.

Many decades later, after Persia had taken control of the Babylonian empire, Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den because he REFUSED to adhere to the DECREE BANNING PRAYER. God shut the mouth of the lions, and Daniel survived. The men who had accused Daniel of “insurrection” because he refused to submit to the King’s edict BANNING PRAYER were all thrown into the lion’s den where they were consumed by the hungry lions.

Did Daniel KNOW that God would save him from the paw of the lion? He KNEW that GOD COULD SAVE HIM. But Daniel TRUSTED GOD (YHWH) with his LIFE so…… whether he lived or died, Daniel TRUSTED God. Even King Darius of Persia BELIEVED that “Daniel’s God” would save him. Darius was right. YHWH sent angels to shut the mouths of the lions. In this MIRACULOUS FEAT, the NAME of YHWH was GLORIFIED.

Daniel 6:16: Then the king gave orders, and Daniel was brought in and thrown into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “Your God whom you continually serve will Himself rescue you.”

¹⁷ And a stone was brought and placed over the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet ring and with the signet rings of his nobles, so that nothing would be changed regarding Daniel. ¹⁸ Then the king went to his palace and spent the night fasting, and no entertainment was brought before him; and his sleep fled from him.

¹⁹ Then the king got up at dawn, at the break of day, and went in a hurry to the lions’ den. ²⁰ And when he had come near the den to Daniel, he cried out with a troubled voice. The king began speaking and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you continually serve, been able to rescue you from the lions?” ²¹ Then Daniel spoke to the king, “O king, live forever! ²² My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, and they have not harmed me, since I was found innocent before Him; and also toward you, O king, I have committed no crime.” ²³ Then the king was very glad and gave orders for Daniel to be lifted up out of the den.

Clearly the story of Daniel in the Lion’s den has Messianic undertones, a shadow of Messiah. So many stories in the Old Testament (Tanakh) have Messianic undertones, foreshadowing the Messiah Yahushua (JESUS). In the story of Daniel in the lion’s den we have a sealed “tomb” (cave) and what seems to be certain death. We have a King (Darius of Persia) who ordered Daniel to be thrown into the tomb because he had already signed the edict, though he actually cared about Daniel. God Almighty signed the EDICT that His GREATLY BELOVED SON would die on a cross (cursed is the man who hangs on a tree), and be placed in a sealed tomb because of His Love for mankind and desire to save them. Like Daniel, Jesus the Messiah did NOT fight against the EDICT, though he had committed no crime. Both Daniel and Jesus PATIENTLY ENDURED because they TRUSTED GOD. When the seal was broken, and the stone of the tomb (cave) was rolled away, both Daniel and Jesus left the tomb UNHARMED because they were found innocent before God.

It is a part of human nature to want to fit in with those around us and to copy what we see others doing.

Our human nature desires to be liked and respected by those around us; however, we must also recognize that we live in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation in which ungodly, antichrist Babylonian values are the norm, and Biblical values are mocked and ridiculed. Yes, it is far easier to just give in and “go with the flo”, but where does this ULTIMATELY lead us?

The vast majority of the world is sleep-walking themselves right into hell. WIDE is the road that leads to destruction and MANY are on it. 😴

We don’t want to follow them on that road!

Then HOW do we do it? How do we stand for JUDEO/CHRISTIAN values when we are being ridiculed, mocked, and scorned – and CANCELLED? How do we not CAVE in to the angry mob?

First, we must know what we believe and why we believe it before we can hope to “hold our ground.”

Daniel and his friends had been taught from their youth to follow YHWH without compromising. When tempted with seductive Babylonian values, the only way they could stand their ground is by truly believing what they had been taught. Sadly, most of today’s modern Church has not done a good job of teaching the valuable tenets of the faith. Instead, the Church has been backsliding, parents have been backsliding, and the youth is suffering.

The devil has distracted parents with technology and activities, all the while enticing the youth with much more “exciting” values.

The devil has always been very good at labeling wrong values and behaviors “GOOD”, while labeling Judeo Christian values “bigoted, narow minded, or lacking in kindness“. Christians are shamed by the world (and even some in the “Church”😲) when we believe that Jesus is the world’s only true savior and lord, and that our faith is uniquely true. The world (and some in the Church) tells us that this is disrespectful to other beliefs.

John 1:12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, (JESUS CHRIST) he gave the right to become children of God

If a Christian isn’t rock solid on what we believe and WHY we believe it, we will succumb to the world’s pressure. Christians were not commanded by God to validate ALL RELIGIONS (as some in the APOSTATE Church would suggest)…we were commanded by God to “go and make disciples of ALL NATIONS“(Matthew 28:19). Why? Because those religions will NOT save anyone! Only Jesus Christ can save! NO RELIGION can set us FREE from slavery to sin!

Second, in order to remain FAITHFUL to our God, we must reject “the fear of man“. For me, just NAMING this “condition” is more than half of the battle. The fear of man can weave a web of ambiguity around issues that are Biblically clear. God created us to desire approval, but we need to recognize WHO we should desire that approval FROM!

Proverbs 9:10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

The fear of man can immobilize us when we should take action, or silence us when we should speak up.

Proverbs 29:25: The fear of man brings a snare,
But one who trusts in the Lord will be protected.

When we feel this fear, it can stir up emotional fog and psychological complexity. But we cut through to the heart of things if we remember a simple biblical truth: we obey the one we fear.

The fear of man is a snare because man is a false god, but the fear of the Lord is safe because the lord elohim (yhwh/jesus christ) really is God (Proverbs 29:25). The fear of man is a closely clinging sin that entangles our legs in the race of faith and we must lay it aside (Hebrews 12:1). How?

How do we overcome the “fear of man”?

• Confess our sin to God, repent, and ask Him for help to overcome it.
• Ask ourself….why are we so afraid of man, what can he really do to us?
• Courageously confront our fear of man. “We must obey God rather than man”. Courage is not the absence of fear, but the resolve to obey despite what we feel. We should exercise our trust in God by stepping out in obedience. “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you”

Isaiah 51:12: “I, I Myself, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man, And of a son of man who is made like grass,

“Be uncompromising in doctrine and conduct. But be yielding in manner. A mace of tempered steel, wrapped in a quilted covering. Be uncompromising, but don’t be obstinate.”

Third, we must LEARN how to be KIND and COMPASSIONATE in this sick, perverse world, WITHOUT compromising THE TRUTH of our BELIEF or our Judeo/Christian values. At one time, we also were unwashed sinners in need of a Savior. We should have compassion on unbelievers who cannot undertand the truth and are still enslaved to sin and the devil. They have a veil over their eyes. They are DECEIVED by the “god of this world”.

Having compassion on unrepentant sinners and yet not allowing oneself to be “stained by the world” is a tricky tight-rope to walk, but can be done with the help of the HOLY SPIRIT. In our ZEAL for the LORD, we do NOT want to become unfeeling, judgmental PHARISEES who LACK SHARING GRACE WITH OTHERS. As the Apostle Paul stated, we must let our speech be Grace sprinkled with salt. GRACE AND TRUTH.

1 Corinthians 6:9: Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor those habitually drunk, nor verbal abusers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

Rev. 12:9: And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Matthew 5:7: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.

James 2:13: For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

How was Daniel able to be highly favored and respected by the Babylonian and Persian leadership and yet hang on to his Biblical values?

Daniel had favor with God.

The wisdom that God gave Daniel helped him to know when to speak and when to remain silent. Daniel knew which battles to fight and which to walk away from. God IS Love. Those who follow JESUS CHRIST absolutely MUST love our neighbors, those who are not like us. We must FORGIVE wrongs done to us and act in a way that is DIFFERENT than the world. When they curse, we bless. When they hate, we LOVE. People hate hypocrites. Those who claim the Name of Jesus and then treat their neighbor with meanness, with harshness, with unkindness are not following the God of the Bible. God does not call us to be “judge and jury”. We are to LOVE our neighbors as ourself. That is our job.

We must leave the judging of one’s final destination up to God. This does not mean we can’t be “fruit inspectors”. Surely, we must use our Godly discernment to know who we should yoke ourselves with and who we should not. But, as far as someone’s eternal destination is concerned, that is totally up to God, who is most likely far more merciful than we are.

We know no one is perfect, but we kind of expect it anyway. Except in ourselves. We often excuse our own shortcomings because we claim God’s grace, but then we turn around and demand others be perfect—a standard we ourselves don’t meet.

The fact is, we never know all the facts.

• How do we know the angry driver didn’t just lose his spouse last week?
• How do we know the rude saleswoman didn’t just discover she has cancer?
• How do we know the Christian who cussed didn’t just accept Jesus and has no clue how to walk with God?
• How do we know that the homosexual man wasn’t sexually abused by his Uncle or even his priest?

Wouldn’t it be better to tap the brakes on our judgment—especially when we don’t know all the facts?

Fourth and possibly most importantly, the only way to live true to our faith in this crooked and perverse world is to have a strong and REAL RELATIONSHIP with our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST. We cannot get this by simply sitting in a pew once a week and never giving Jesus another thought. RELATIONSHIP, the kind that changes lives, happens through BELIEF, FAITH, PERSISTENT PRAYER, PRAISE, WORSHIP and STUDY of GOD’S WORD. In the Bible, the word WORSHIP means SUBMIT. We need to SUBMIT to God’s Will, recognizing that HE knows ALOT MORE than us!

When we TRULY BELIEVE in the SOUL SAVING POWER of CHRIST’S FINISHED WORK on the CROSS, the Holy Spirit who lives and dwells inside of us will break the power of sin, strengthen us and lead us into ALL TRUTH. Like all relationships, we must spend time with our LOVED ONE – JESUS CHRIST, who IS the WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH, the ONLY ONE who gave EVERYTHING to SAVE US!

Daniel 6:10: Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Matthew 6:5:  “And when you pray, you are not to be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners so that they will be seen by people. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. ⁶ But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

This world is growing darker and darker. Just today, I read that a lawmaker in the British Parliament, is actually seeking to BAN PRAYER that CONFLICTS with the lgbtq agenda! The Overton window may not have been moved far enough YET for her to pass this through as law……but this is the direction this world is rapidly moving in these LAST DAYS as prophesied by Jesus.

“OK, children, let’s chant to the Aztec gods! How do you undo the sin of “theocide,” which the colonial settlers allegedly committed when they “killed” the gods of the Native American peoples, replacing those deities with the God of Christianity? “

Dear God! This is what we are up against as Christians in this Heathen, Babylonian society. The Native American “gods”, like ALL pagan “gods” are nothing more than DEMONS in disguise! In California schools, they are moving towards FORCING children to PRAY to demons, while BANNING BIBLES and CHRISTIAN PRAYERS to the ONE TRUE GOD!! This is the end-times antichrist society in which we now live! Parents need to educate themselves on the TRUTH!! SADLY many “progressive parents” actually BELIEVE THE LIES of the devil that FALSELY CLAIM Christianity is a white, racist, bigoted religion.

JESUS HIMSELF was NOT WHITE! Jesus was neither white nor black, he was a Hebrew (JEWISH) man from the Middle East. The early paintings of Jesus that depicted him as white, European “Christian” were not accurate. When God took on the likeness of human flesh, He became a perfect blend and can therefore identify with ALL RACES, which HE created IN LOVE. Below is a PAINTING of JESUS titled “THE PRINCE OF PEACE” by Akiane Kramarik. She painted Jesus when she was only 8 years old. As a very young child, she had visions of Jesus in Heaven, and this is her depiction of how HE looked.

Another lady who calls herself Sparrow (sparrowcloud9.com), has had regular dreams and visions of Jesus ever since she had a near death experience (NDE) in the year 2000. Sparrow has verified that this painting (see below) is the closest thing she has seen to what Jesus truly looks like in Heaven – the main difference is that when Sparrow sees JESUS, half of HIS face is not in the shadows, as Akiane painted.

The simple fact that many people are taught LIES that falsely accuse Christianity of being “a white, racist religion” underscores how important it is for those who claim to follow JESUS CHRIST to know the TRUTH. We will not be deceived by the lies of the devil if we know the truth. We will be less likely to go astray if we know the TRUTH. Once we know the TRUTH, the TRUTH will set us FREE.

Is it true that over the past 2000 years SOME people have done terrible things to other people in the “name” of Christianity? Sadly, yes. But people who have oppressed other PEOPLE, other races, other cultures, in the name of Christianity are CINOS (Christians in name only), and do NOT represent the teachings of JESUS CHRIST. These are tares among the wheat.

The Bible has some very strong words to say about those so-called christians who claim Christianity as a license to sin and oppress other people….

Jude 1:⁴ For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you (tares among the wheat). They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

¹² These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead. ¹³ They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.

ENDURING TO THE END

As believers in Jesus, we are to walk by Faith and not by sight. In order to ENDURE to the end in this wicked and perverse generation, we must build our house on the SOLID ROCK of JESUS CHRIST. Not a “fake Christ” preached by an apostate Church, but the TRUE CHRIST who calls us into a life of SUBMISSION to God’s WILL, to HOLINESS, and to walk in HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and KINDNESS. This is the end of the age. God is separating the wheat from the Tares. The tares are not the radical left, staunch athiests, they are lukewarm, apostate Christians who though they claim to believe in Jesus, REFUSE to BELIEVE or FOLLOW the Word of God. They have built their house on sinking sand.

At the very beginning of his captivity, Daniel purposed in his heart that he would obey the God of the Bible no matter the cost. God’s Word tells us that Daniel never wavered. Througout his entire life, he absolutely REFUSED to compromise his beliefs and bow the knee to the babylonian “gods” regardless of what pressure he received, even from other Jewish exiles who were beginning to embrace the Babylonian culture.

When we look at many of the great names in the Bible – Daniel, Noah, Abraham, Jeremiah, Paul, we understand that they endured terrible hardship, mocking, ridicule and persecution while standing their ground, firm in their faith. Some of them were supernaturally delivered to safe pastures, like Daniel, Noah, and Abraham, while others were beaten, flogged, and even killed for their faith.

Thousands and thousands of faithful Believers, whose names we may never know, have been martyr’d over the centuries for their refusal to follow other “gods”.

The question is….WHY?

Why? Why would these people of the Bible, regular people, be absolutely, one hundred percent committed to following God Almighty and His Son Jesus Christ, even unto death if that’s what is called for? Why would they be willing to to suffer for the Name of YHWH or of HIS SON YAHUSHUA (JESUS)?

Why?

Because they KNEW something very special. There is absolutley NOTHING on earth that can compare with the RICHES of God’s Grace in His Glorious Kingdom. These special people understood something that we often fail to understand. When we compromise our faith and belief in God so that we can “fit in” with this current ungodly Babylonian culture, we are selling our birthright for a bowl of soup just like Esau sold his birthright to Jacob. You see, to be one of God’s REDEEMED children in the kingdom of God, made in God’s image, is going to come with an amazing REWARD!! We may not fully grasp it right now, but the reward for FAITHFULNESS is FAR BETTER than PURE GOLD. It is something we cannot currently imagine with our puny human minds.

Whatever this MYSTERIOUS REWARD IS….the ancients, martyrs, and all those who refused to bow the knee to the fake “gods” of this world UNDERSTOOD that THE REWARD that YHWH OFFERS is FAR GREATER and LONGER LASTING than our TEMPORARY SUFFERING ON EARTH.

They kept an ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE.

Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

1 Corinthians 2:9: But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

In these last days, the Righteous will shine brighter while the wicked will grow darker. If we want to survive these last days as a follower of Jesus Christ, we MUST purpose in our heart to STAND FIRM in our faith with no COMPROMISING – and yet be kind and merciful to those who do not share our faith. God is separating the wheat from the tares. Many Christians (even entire Churches) are sitting on the fence, one foot in the world, the other following Jesus. God calls this “double minded”. But the days of God tolerating the double minded are about over.

The HARVEST is upon us! God is calling us to CHOOSE, and there are really only two choices.

If we SAY we FOLLOW CHRIST, then we need to LEARN, BELIEVE and APPLY God’s Word to our life…we need to submit our will to His. This will not be an easy thing to do. The “cancel culture” is hot on the heels of TRUE Christianity. Oh, they may allow an apostate, luke-warm WORLDLY Church to operate (as it does in China), but NOT TRUE CHRISTIANITY. The TRUTH will be OUTLAWED and its followers PERSECUTED.

But to those who OVERCOME….Wow, wow, WOW!
