Three Days of Darkness: A PATTERN

In the book of Exodus, God (YHWH) sent ten plagues to Egypt to convince Pharoah to release God’s people from slavery. During the ninth plague of Egypt, THICK DARKNESS covered the land for three days and three nights. The plague of DARKNESS was the FINAL WARNING that YHWH sent to Egypt prior to HIS JUDGMENT and the EXODUS of HIS PEOPLE.

Exodus 10:²¹ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, darkness which may even be felt.” ²² So Moses stretched out his hand toward heaven, and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days. ²³ They did not see one another; nor did anyone rise from his place for three days. But all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

The Bible describes this plague of darkness as a “thick darkness” that could be felt. What is this “thick darkness” and where else do we see it in the Bible?

God SEPARATES LIGHT FROM DARKNESS

In Genesis Chapter 1, when God created the Heavens and the Earth, God (YHWH) separated the Light from the Darkness. YHWH did this BEFORE He created the sun, moon, and stars. Our universe is shrouded in DARKNESS. The sun, moon and stars are the only lights that are visible in our natural universe. These lights are there to show mankind God’s glory. However, there was LIGHT present BEFORE God created the celestial bodies. The Light that was present before our known Universe was created IS the Divine Light of YHWH (God). God IS pure light – He dwells in Light. In HIM there is no darkness at all. God COMPLETELY separated the DIVINE LIGHT from the DARKNESS of our universe. Darkness and Light do not intermingle.

To get a “visual” of this, imagine that YHWH (God), who is LIGHT, exists or LIVES outside or just beyond the “edge” of the Universe. Inside of our Universe is a vast EXPANSE of total darkness, where the only lights visible are the sun, moon, and stars. God created the Universe with foreknowledge of THE FALL. He KNEW that sin and spiritual darkness would soon engulf the physical realm. God created the expanse (firmament) of outer space to completely separate His Divine and perfect Light from our darkened, sin-filled Universe.

Job 38:8: “Or who enclosed the sea (YHWH’S dwelling place) with doors
When it went out from the womb, bursting forth;
⁹ When I made a cloud its garment,
And thick darkness its swaddling bands,

God created the Heavenly lights for His Glory, to separate day (light) and night (darkness), to serve as signs, to help us understand time and seasons, and to point us to Him.

Genesis 1:¹⁴ Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day ☀️from the night🌑, and they shall serve as signs and for seasons, and for days and years;

God, who dwells in the Third Heaven beyond the confines of our universe, is PURE LIGHT. Everything within our universe, apart from the sun, moon, and stars, exists in utter DARKNESS.

Fallen mankind cannot approach God (YHWH) or even look upon him, or we will DIE. The Divine Light of YHWH, who is literally brighter than the sun, would burn us up in an instant.

1 Timothy 6:13:  I direct you in the presence of God, who gives life to all things, and of Christ Jesus, who testified the good confession before Pontius Pilate, ¹⁴ that you keep the commandment without fault or reproach until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, ¹⁵ which He will bring about at the proper time—He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 

¹⁶ who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

God shrouds Himself in CLOUDS and THICK DARKNESS

When God (YHWH) appeared to Israel on Mt. Sinai to give them the TEN COMMANDMENTS, He placed a boundary around the Mountain so that the people would NOT DIE. YHWH descended onto the Mountain (Mt. Sinai) HIDDEN in THICK DARKNESS and a CLOUD, along with FIRE so that Moses and all of Israel could SURVIVE His presence. When YHWH appears to mankind, He Hides Himself in four things so that we can survive His presence. He does this because of His LOVE and MERCY.

1. Fire
2. Thick Darkness
3. Cloud
4. The body of a man (Jesus Christ)

Exodus 20: ¹⁸ Now all the people (ISRAEL) witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. ¹⁹ Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.”

²⁰ And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” ²¹ So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.

1 Kings 8:10 And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord.

¹² Then Solomon said, “The Lord has said that He would dwell in the thick darkness. ¹³ I have truly built You a lofty house, A place for Your dwelling forever.”

Genesis 15:12: Now when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and behold, horror and great darkness fell upon him (Abram/Abraham).

Psalm 97:2: Clouds and darkness surround Him (GOD/YHWH); Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Because JESUS CHRIST IS GOD who manifested Himself in the likeness of human flesh, JESUS CHRIST will RETURN in GLORY riding ON THE CLOUDS. (GLORY CLOUD of GOD).

Rev. 1: ⁷ Behold, He (JESUS CHRIST) is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.

The DAY OF THE LORD, a day of THICK DARKNESS

The Day of the Lord which includes both the Tribulation period, and the time of Jesus’ second coming is described as a “day of THICK DARKNESS and gloominess”. This is because God (Jesus Christ) is RETURNING to the earth to judge wickedness and establish His Kingdom of LIGHT within this dark universe. This is a big, big deal!

Amos 5:18: Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord!
For what good is the day of the Lord to you?
It will be darkness, and not light.

Zephaniah 1:15: That day is a day of anger (wrath),
A day of trouble and distress,
A day of destruction and desolation,
A day of darkness and gloom,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,

Joel 2:1: Blow the trumpet in Zion,
And sound an alarm in My holy mountain!
Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble;
For the day of the Lord is coming,
For it is at hand:
² A day of darkness and gloominess,
A day of clouds and thick darkness,
Like the morning clouds spread over the mountains.
A people come, great and strong,
The like of whom has never been;
Nor will there ever be any such after them,
Even for many successive generations.

The BREAKING OF THE DAWN (RESURRECTION/transformation-rapture)

Have you heard the expression…”It’s always darkest before the dawn?” This is the Day of the Lord. When this Joel 2 prophecy is fulfilled, there will be darkness and fear (especially unbelievers), but the dawn will break, and God will RISE and SHINE in HIS PEOPLE.

Isaiah 60:2: For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you. 🕯️

It is our belief that the resurrection of the dead will happen during (or immediately following) this time of thick darkness, following the same pattern that we saw in Jesus’ Resurrection and in the Biblical EXODUS. As thick darkness preceded the Israelites’ exodus from slavery in Egypt, the Resurrection IS the final EXODUS. The Resurrection/Rapture IS the BREAK OF DAWN. Jesus was in the tomb (belly of the earth) for 3 days and 3 nights (DEATH/DARKNESS) but when HE ROSE, there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE (SHAKING), and the tombs of the righteous saints were OPENED – LIGHT/RESURRECTION – EXODUS.

Matthew 28:1:  Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. ² And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. ³ His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. ⁴ And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.

Matthew 27:51: Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, ⁵² and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep (died) were raised; ⁵³ and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

The sound of the Trumpet🎺

The scriptures below speak about a Trumpet blast🎺, the dead in Christ rising, God’s church being snatched away (harpazo), the Jewish remnant being taken into the wilderness to a place prepared by God for their protection, and then the wrath of God being poured out🔥😱.

1 Thessalonians 4:16: For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God🎺, and the dead in Christ will rise first

¹⁷ Then we who are alive, who remain, will be caught up (harpazo/RAPTURE) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15: ⁵¹ Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, ⁵² in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet🎺; for the trumpet🎺 will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed

God is going to shake both the Heavens and the Earth

YHWH (God) came to earth on MT. SINAI to share with Israel (and mankind) His Commandments which are YHWH’s standard for Righteousness.

Mount Sinai shook and trembled, it smoked, and YHWH appeared within the THICK DARKNESS and the CLOUD.

“You shall count for yourself from the first day after the day of rest, from that day that you brought the Omer seven complete weeks. It will come to pass ON THE THIRD DAY, when it is morning, there will be thunder and lightning and a thick cloud upon the mountain and the sound of the Shofar 🎺 will be exceedingly loud.“

“The time of the end will be like that of the time of the beginning for there is nothing new under the sun. Watch and be amazed. You are loved. “💕

JESUS CHRIST’S second coming will be even MORE dramatic than YHWH’s descent onto Mt. Sinai because this time YHWH is going to shake not only the earth, but also the HEAVENS. 😲

Hebrews 12:25:  See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, ²⁶ whose voice then shook the earth (When YHWH descended to earth to meet with Moses at Mt. Sinai); but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 

²⁷ Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain (KINGDOM OF GOD).

²⁸ Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. ²⁹ For our God is a consuming fire. 🔥

The SIXTH SEAL OF REVELATION – A DAY OF THICK DARKNESS

Rev. 6:12-17:  And I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became as black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood🌑; ¹³ and the stars of the sky fell to the earth⭐, as a fig tree drops its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind. 

¹⁴ The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. (mountains and islands represent human governments)

¹⁵ Then the kings of the earth and the eminent people👑, and the commanders and the wealthy and the strong, and every slave and free person hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains; (mountain bunkers?)

¹⁶ and they *said to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the sight of Him who sits on the throne (YHWH), and from the wrath of the Lamb (Jesus Christ); ¹⁷ for the great day of Their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Matthew 24: ²⁹ “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened🌆, and the moon will not give its light🌑, and the stars will fall from the sky⭐, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 

³⁰ And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky ☁️with power and great glory. 

³¹ And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast🎺, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

The Bible clearly tells us that the DAY OF THE LORD will start out with a LOUD TRUMPET 🎺BLAST and THICK DARKNESS. The sun will be darkened, and the moon will turn to blood (not give its light) BEFORE the Great and terrible day of the LORD.

THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS – A PATTERN

Does the Bible specifically tell us that there WILL be THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS at the time of the “LAST TRUMP” and the RESURRECTION? No, but the patterns are clearly seen in the Holy Scriptures.

• There is the pattern of the 3 days and 3 nights of THICK DARKNESS prior to the Exodus of the Israelites.
• We also have the pattern of Jonah who was in the belly of the whale (SHEOL) for 3 days and 3 nights before he was “spit up” onto the earth (a type of RESURRECTION).
• We have the pattern of Lazarus who was dead for 3 days and was raised on the 4TH DAY.
• The ultimate pattern of DARKNESS to LIGHT is seen in the 3 days and 3 nights of JESUS in the tomb prior to HIS Resurrection.

Ancient Non-Biblical Sources confirm the pattern of three days of darkness

PRAYERFUL DISCERNMENT REQUIRED 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Throughout HIStory, various seers (both Catholic and Protestant) have alluded to a coming terrifying chastisement that would last for three days. Marie Julie Jahenny, born in 1850 in France, was a Third Order Franciscan mystic who also had visions about the coming Three Days of Darkness.

We are going to share a few of these dreams/visions here for your review. Please pray for discernment because these are NON-BIBLICAL SOURCES. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

“It would be a worldwide chastisement, claimed Marie Julie Jahenny of Coyault, France. Day would be as night, they warned. Night would be like a coal mine. The darkness would be almost palpable.”

“The three days of darkness “will be on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Days of the Most Holy Sacrament, of the Cross and Our Lady. . . .” three days less one night.”

“During these three days of terrifying darkness, no windows must be opened, because no one will be able to see the earth and the terrible color it will have in those days of punishment without dying at once… “

“The sky will be on fire, the earth will split… During these three days of darkness let the blessed candle be lighted everywhere, no other light will shine…. “

“NO ONE OUTSIDE A SHELTER.. will survive. The earth will shake as at the judgment and fear will be great. Yes, we will listen to the prayers of your friends; NOT ONE WILL PERISH. We will need them to publish the glory of the Cross….”

Rev. 12: ⁹ And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. ¹⁰ Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down, the one who accuses them before our God day and night.

¹² For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea (of humanity), because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”

It is said that Padre Pio wrote a private letter to the Commission of Heroldsbach appointed by the Vatican.

Whether the quotes are authentic or not is hard to say, but here is the Prophetic Word that Padre Pio supposedly received from the Lord that seems to describe three days of darkness.

“My son, My son, I have been longing for this hour in which I again shall reveal to you the great love of My heart . . . Pray and make reparation to Me.  Admonish others to do the same because the time is near at hand in which I shall visit My unfaithful people because they have not heeded the time of My grace.  Persevere in prayer, so that your adversary shall have no dominion over you. Tell My people to be prepared at all times, for My judgment shall come upon them suddenly and when least expected – and not one shall escape My hands, I shall find them all!  I shall protect the just.

Watch the sun and moon and the stars of the Heavens. When they appear to be unduly disturbed and restless, know that the day is not far away.  Stay united in prayer and watching until the angel of destruction has passed your doors.  Pray that these days will be shortened.

“Keep your windows well-covered.  Do not look out.  Light a blessed candle, which will suffice for many days. Read spiritual books.  Make acts of Spiritual Communion, also acts of love, which are so pleasing to Us.  Pray 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻with outstretched arms, or prostrate on the ground, in order that many souls may be saved.  Do not go outside the house.  Provide yourself with sufficient food.  The powers of nature shall be moved and a rain of fire shall make people tremble with fear.  Have courage!  I am in the midst of you.”

“That you may be prepared for these visitations, I will give you the following signs and instructions: The night will be very cold.  The wind will roar.  After a time thunderbolts will be heard.  Lock all the doors and windows.  Talk to no one outside the house.  be sorry for your sins.

Do not look during the earthquake, because the anger of God is holy!” Jesus does not want us to behold the anger of God, because God’s anger must be contemplated with fear and trembling.

“Those who disregard this advice will be killed instantly.  The wind will carry with it poisonous gases which will be diffused over the entire earth.  Those who suffer and die innocently will be martyrs and they will be with Me in My Kingdom.  Satan will appear to have triumphed.  But in three nights, the earthquake and fire will cease.  On the following day the sun will shine again, angels will descend from Heaven and will spread the spirit of peace over the earth.  A feeling of immeasurable gratitude will take possession of those who survive this most terrible ordeal, the impending punishment, with which God will visit the earth since creation.”

Of course, we cannot verify any of these non-Biblical prophecies; however, there are elements within them that seem to coincide with Scriptural patterns which is why we are presenting them here.

There ARE similarities between the NON-BIBLICAL prophecies about the Three Days of Darkness and the passage in Exodus.

• During the Three Days of Darkness, darkness covers the earth. The Ninth plague in Exodus involves a THICK darkness that covered the earth.
• During the Three Days of Darkness, everyone has to stay inside their homes, lest they be harmed by the noxious gasses that are outside. In Exodus, the Israelites had to stay inside their homes, while the angel of death passed over the people of Egypt.
• After the Three Days of Darkness, there will be an era of peace. After the Egyptian plague, the Israelites were freed.

According to the non-Biblical prophecies there is a time of peace that comes after the three days of darkness. As noted below, ALL PROPHECY MUST line up with the WORD OF GOD!

IF the PATTERN of the three days of darkness is revealed in the 6th seal of Revelation, then it is POSSIBLE that the time of peace spoken of by these seers is the “Great interlude” of Revelation 7.

Revelation 6:12-17, Joel 2 and other scriptures (Isaiah 2:21, Joel 3:16, Nahum 1:5-6, Matthew 24:29, Isaiah 13:10 Amos 8:9) speak of great darkness and fear (the sun becomes as dark as sackcloth and the moon turns to blood🌑), but in Revelation 7, there is an angel who ascends from the “rising of the sun” (break of dawn). At this time, God COMMANDS that NO HARM come to the “earth, the sea or the trees” (often representative of PEOPLE) UNTIL the SEALING of the 144,000 is complete. – THE MERCY OF GOD.

Revelation :7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree. 

² And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun (break of dawn), holding the seal of the living God; and he called out with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, ³ saying, “Do not harm the earth, or the sea, or the trees until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.”

If demonic entities, including Satan and his fallen angels, are cast down to the earth upon the opening of the 6th seal of Revelation, they will be RESTRAINED until the sealing of the 144,000 is COMPLETE (Rev. 7). Is this sealing representative of God’s great harvest of souls? 🌾

Immediately following this sealing in Revelation 7, we see a multitude that no man can number around the Throne of God wearing white robes and waving palm branches (RAPTURED SAINTS). 🌴✝️💖

Revelation 7:9: After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands🌴 ¹⁰ and they *cried out with a loud voice, saying,

“Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” ✝️

There will be a VERY LOUD TRUMP OF GOD that will ACCOMPANY the time of thick darkness and the Resurrection; however, this Trumpet is NOT one of the “Seven Trumpets of Revelation” (Rev. 8,9). The Trump of God that occurs during the darkness, ushering in the RESURRECTION is something UNIQUE to that day. (1 Thessalonians 4:16). This special TRUMP announces both the Resurrection/Rapture, which is the mercy of God, and also His coming wrath. 🔥

We firmly believe that God will pour out His Spirit🕊️ in greater and greater measure BEFORE the Rapture of the Church and BEFORE He pours out His Wrath (the Seven Trumpets of Revelation) 🔥.

“I so dearly love you, My children, and long for the time when we are together for eternity.  This Bridegroom longs for His Bride!  And I AM coming soon!  Make no mistake, My dear daughter, I am coming soon!  Much sooner than many think.  But I am speaking to My own so My coming will not be sudden to them. “

“I have given you knowledge of events to come and this is the order in which they will come:“

“First of all, there will be a cataclysmic event that will affect all mankind;  then there will be darkness over all the earth; then I will reveal Myself to the hearts of every man and woman on the face of the earth.  Their sinful nature will be exposed and they will realise their need of Me.  They will realise that I am indeed their Creator and their Redeemer. That I, Jesus, shed My blood for them on the Cross and that without My forgiveness they will not enter Heaven.  They will be given the choice of accepting Me as their Lord and Saviour, or rejecting Me.”

“This will be My last intervention from Heaven to a world dying of sin💀, to save each individual from a fate worse than death – eternity in Hell. 🔥”

“So many think that Hell does not exist.  They think, ‘How could a loving God send anyone to Hell?”  They don’t realise that no sin can enter Heaven and it is only through My shed blood on the Cross that any sin is forgiven.  If My sacrifice on the Cross ✝️is rejected, there is no other means to keep that person from eternity in Hell.  If they don’t choose Me as their Lord and Saviour, then I have no power whatsoever over their souls.  They have chosen to align themselves with Satan😈, who longs to drag My precious children into the abyss of Hell with himself.  He does not desire this out of any feeling or regard for the person he has deceived, but to thwart Me, as he hates Me so intensely, and therefore he wants to hurt Me by hurting My children.

This is why My intervention is so necessary, as it will lift the veil of deception from the eyes of each and every person on the face of the earth and they will be given the opportunity to choose of their own free will.

The darkness that covers the earth will last for three days and it is during this time that I will manifest Myself to mankind.  Don’t fear this event, My children, for it is out of My great love for you that this event has been prepared since the beginning of time.  After your hearts are purified, My Holy Spirit will invade your beings as never before and you will arise to do great miracles and will lead many to Me in the short time left before I come for My Bride.

Arise, My children, with joy in your hearts, for your Bridegroom cometh for His Bride! Your Jesus, Your Bridegroom”

Dream 621 – The Three Days of Darkness,

Jesus:  “Erin, come up!”

He once again spoke to me while I sat in my devotional chair.  His Voice was very clear.

Jesus:  “Be strong as I am with you.  To My Remnant of the people… who is left amongst you that saw this House, My Temple, in its former glory?”

Me:  “No one, Lord.  There is no one on Earth who has seen the former glory of Your House.  We only know of it from Your Word.  There is no Holy House of the Lord physically standing today.  Your Spirit is housed in our hearts instead.”

Jesus:  “Do not be afraid for, once more, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the Earth and the sea and the dry lands.  I will shake all nations so the treasures of all the nations shall be rendered and will fill My House.  I will fill My House with glory.  The silver is Mine.  The gold is Mine.  The latter glory of My House shall be greater than the former and in this place is peace.”

Me:  “Lord, this is Haggai that You are quoting.”

Jesus:  “No, Haggai was quoting Me.  I am laying the foundation of My House and, through you, I will establish that you are My Workers.”

Me:  “Lord, help me to understand all of this.”

Jesus:  “What have I placed upon your heart for this time?”

Me:  “Joel 2, Lord.  You have placed Joel 2 on my heart.  I saw darkness for three days.  There was great fear that gripped the lands.  There was mourning, even by the animals.  Wild animals cried out in the darkness.  Even those who were assigned to evil were in fear. 

However, an Army then came, an Army of Your Remnant in ranks.  This was a Great Army, an Army that displayed awesome deeds.

“These awesome deeds were not from weapons made of steel, but by their hands.  It was by their hands because You were working through each one.  (Joel 2) The nations were terrified as no weapons formed against them could stop them.  This Great Army established that You were here with Your Great Glory💡.  A Great Upheaval took place, like turning a field and preparing the soil for planting.

“Evil confessed.  Evidence hidden was unearthed and exposed.  They were unable to lie and their exposure was made public for all to see.  Then after days of Great Upheaval came days of healing and rebuilding as a great number of the defiled and distressed came into God’s care as Lost Sheep to their Shepherd.  There was a great celebration with peace, joy, singing and praise amongst the nations. (Amos 9:11, Isaiah 61:4)

“This was because God brought healing rains and great miracles.  God made Heaven visible upon the Earth. (Isaiah 60:1-2, Philippians 3:21) Oh Father, I pray that I am not delusional.  I pray that my pain and my brokenness has not caused me to hallucinate such a wonderful move of God.  If I am hallucinating, then this too was allowed by You to comfort me.

“Father, my Lord, please allow these great and wonderful promises to unfold.  Let them unfold just as Haggai and Joel were given.  Let Your Bride, Your Remnant, be given Your Signet Ring as a mark of Your Authority to carry out Your Will in us.  Let no evil stand against us!”

Jesus:  “Your prayer is good.  Your request is also good.  I have a Great Plan.  Do not be afraid.  Always remember that I am completely in control of all things all the time.”

There you have it. Both Catholics and Protestants, both ancient and modern, have prophesied about the arrival of an impending three days of darkness.

I have personally experienced a couple of dreams and a Word of knowledge (1 Cor. 12:8) regarding a time of coming darkness.

I’m still praying for wisdom and discernment regarding these events.

MY DREAM from February 3, 2020….

In the dream, I was standing in the road talking to my neighbor “Jen”. It was a VERY BRIGHT sunny day! The sun was so bright, it was hard to SEE. The sun was so bright, it hurt my eyes. I noticed the shadows on the ground, how there was such a stark contrast between the dark shadows and the bright sunshine. While speaking with my neighbor and noticing the contrast between the dark shadows and the BRIGHT LIGHT, I moved into a shadow thinking that perhaps I could see better. However, just a split second after I did this, the shadows overtook all of the sunshine, and in a moment, it was dark.

It was at this point that I looked UP because I recognized that this was not normal. This was not a situation where the sun had merely dipped behind a cloud. The sky was now dark with a thick darkness that looked like either smoke, ash, or something like a dust storm. A strong wind had also “kicked up”.

I heard the words “AND DAY TURNED INTO NIGHT“…

That’s when I realized I needed to get home to warn my family. The wind was carrying me home anyway, so powerful was the wind. But I looked back and saw “Jen” looking bewildered and confused. Not picked up by the wind, she was still standing in the road about a football field away. She was standing there, looking bewildered, her hair was blowing in the wind as I shouted to her…

“JESUS IS COMING SOON”…..

Acts 2: ‘And I will grant wonders in the sky above
And signs on the earth below,
Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke.
²⁰ ‘The sun will be turned into darkness
And the moon into blood,
Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.
²¹ ‘And it shall be that EVERYONE who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Isaiah 26:20: Come, my people, enter your rooms
And close your doors behind you;
Hide for a little while
Until indignation runs its course.

After Sparrowcloud 9 had the dream about the three days of darkness on July 16, 2022, and feeling like the timing of this is growing VERY NEAR, I went into prayer seeking confirmation.…

I woke up with what seemed to be a confirming Word on July 17, 2022. Please take all of this to your own prayer closet and seek the Lord’s guidance and wisdom. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

First, I heard what sounded like a proclamation in a language that I did not understand.

After the proclamation was made in a supernatural language (or at least a language that I did not understand).

I heard the interpretation in English…”This means……”The OUTER forces of fear and darkness LOOMETH”.

I had another dream about the upcoming darkness on December 31, 2024 (New Year’s Eve).

In the dream, my son was driving me home. At the top of our road, he paused the car. The sunny sky was slightly hazy. I looked down and saw a huge clock tower building in the sky, breathtakingly high up, made of red brick. Around it, skydivers were visible. Something was falling out of the sky.

I said to my son, “Why did you pause the car? Let’s go!” He missed the descending skydivers and the building, hit the gas, and in about 2-3 seconds, we were in our driveway. In that time, the skydivers went from high up beyond the clouds to nearly on the ground.

As a matter of fact, one of them nearly hit our car as we approached our driveway. The diver’s parachute billowed out and almost covered our car. They landed just as we got into our driveway. The parachute had red and white shades, and everything was in color in this dream. As we jumped out of the car, many skydivers landed, parachutes billowing. I said to my son, “I can’t believe they got down here so fast!”

We ran up to the garage door, and as I turned around to look at the skydivers, the sky went from sunny to pitch black. It was a very strange darkness, getting blacker by the second, obscuring the skydivers in our yard. I could hear them but couldn’t see them in the blackness. A light gray dust had fallen on everything, resembling soot rather than snow. With trembling fingers, I quickly punched in the numbers of our slow garage door opener. I told my son, “It’s the 3 days of darkness!” Then I woke up with my heart pounding! It was so vivid and real.

I do not know what this means, if anything at all, but I discovered tonight that there are exactly 2 years, 5 months and 14 days in between my first dream about the thick darkness and the Word of knowledge that I received on 7/17/2022. Likewise, there are exactly 2 years, 5 months and 14 days in-between that same word of knowledge and the 2nd dream I received about the thick darkness on December 24, 2024. This can’t be a coincidence, but I don’t know what it means. Praying for wisdom, revelation, and discernment! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

HOW can WE PREPARE??

• Believe the GOSPEL of the Lord Jesus Christ who IS God, the GREAT IAM! Jesus Christ (Messiah/Son of God) came to earth in the LIKENESS of human flesh to die on an old, rugged Cross taking the wrath of God that WE ALL deserve, WASHING OUR SIN AWAY WITH HIS BLOOD so that we could be SAVED and become the Righteousness of God.
• Get OUR spiritual houseS in order. If we have sin in our life, repent (go a DIFFERENT direction) and seek God’s forgiveness. When we mourn and confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness.
• Pray and ask YHWH for Confirmation about the three days of darkness.
• Seek the Lord’s guidance on physical preparations.
  • All of the confirming words and dreams above indicate that we MUST get indoors when the darkness begins. It won’t be safe outside.
  • If you watch the video above, sister Linda Courtney recommends having a white, unscented candle to light.
  • A small (three day) supply of food and water would be important because we should not leave our homes during this time.

Jesus Christ is our Refuge and Fortress

This post was not created to cause fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and of power and of a sound mind. For believers in Jesus Christ, the sound of the TRUMPET IS our Blessed Hope. 💖 Perhaps this is why the Bible refers to this time as the “Great and Terrible” Day of the Lord….Great for those who have given their hearts to Jesus Christ and Terrible for those who love wickedness and REFUSE to believe THE GOSPEL, that JESUS CHRIST IS SAVIOR and LORD.
