“All are Welcome”

I see this phrase all over town, on most every church. Seems like a pretty benign phrase, right? What’s not to like about throwing out the welcome mat to all of God’s children? At its base value, it is right on target with where we should be as Christians, but are we delivering the complete message? Are we telling those that enter the door of God’s house to leave certain things behind? Are we instructing those that would enter on what Jesus wants us to leave behind even after we’ve left the four walls of our local church? Have we told people what it means to “transform their minds” (Romans 12:2)?

Listen below, to my thoughts on why this may not feel as right as it looks. I pray that the I may always be spirit-led, and that these discussions may enrich your relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

I'm an avid motorcyclist who tries to follow the narrow road to Jesus Christ. The MM is for Motorcycle Ministry, because I try to make learning about Jesus fun, and often try to relate the act of riding motorcycles, and those related challenges, with the challenges we find on the road of life. Have a blessed day!
