What we believe….
THE GODHEAD: We believe there is only One God who exists eternally as 3 distinct persons, individual and yet One. He is the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. God IS Love and therefore exists in a relationship of LOVE as Father (YHWH), Son (JESUS CHRIST), and Holy Spirit. God Created everything that exists. He sustains everything that exists. Nothing exists apart from God.
JESUS CHRIST: We believe Jesus Christ IS God who was present in the beginning as the Word of God and in the fullness of time was made into the likeness of human flesh for the purpose of saving mankind. He came to the earth fully man, and yet fully God, lived a perfect, SINLESS life, yet died a sinner’s death on the cross – FOR US. As GOD, Jesus Christ had NO SIN which is why He ROSE from the dead three days later. Jesus Christ conquered hell, death and the grave and is alive FOREVERMORE. Jesus has been given ALL AUTHORITY in Heaven and on the earth and as such, JESUS CHRIST IS both SAVIOR✝️, KING 👑and LORD. Jesus Christ IS the ONLY PATH to HEAVEN. All who put their faith and trust in Christ’s finished work on the Cross for the complete forgiveness of ALL of their sins will be saved. (1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
HOLY SPIRIT: We believe the Holy Spirit 🕊️is God’s Divine Spirit who lives and dwells within the believer to TRANSFORM their heart and life into something that looks more like Jesus. The Holy Spirit empowers each believer to live an obedient, sanctified and fruitful life. As God, Holy Spirit empowers and gives gifts to believers for the purpose of sharing the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ ✝️and expanding the Kingdom of God on the earth. Holy Spirit is present on the earth to GLORIFY the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
THE BIBLE: We believe the Bible, both old and New Testament, is the inerrant Word of God. The Bible is 100% accurate and trustworthy. It is God’s truth that sheds light into dark places. As believers in Jesus Christ, our lives should be centered around the teaching of the Bible rather than our own thoughts or feelings.
SALVATION: All people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God which is why Jesus Christ is the only path to salvation and Heaven. Heaven demands 100% perfection, which we human beings are unable to give. The soul that sins will die, and all people everywhere have sinned. God’s JUSTICE demands that our SIN be PUNISHED with eternal death and damnation (HELL/permanent separation from God, who is the source of all life). His MERCY provides a substitution for that punishment. The life of the innocent (God) in exchange for the life of the guilty (ALL human beings).
When we receive Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross✝️ as a substitution for our own eternal death and damnation, we are saved, sanctified, and sealed until the day of redemption. Salvation is the FREE GIFT of God and NOT something we can earn. All that is required of us is that we place our COMPLETE FAITH AND TRUST in Jesus Christ to SAVE US and NOT in a “religion” or in our own works (obedience/law-keeping)! When we TRUST IN JESUS for our salvation ALL of our sin, past, present and future, is WASHED AWAY. At this moment, we stand LEGALLY JUSTIFIED before God as though we had never sinned. God’s Holy Spirit will then come to indwell us, causing us to DESIRE to live for God and teaching us HOW to live for God. God’s FREE GIFT of Salvation is our “ticket to Heaven!”
THE CHURCH: The Church is the global body of believers in Jesus Christ, not a building or denomination. As Christ’s “body”, we are to follow our “head” (Jesus Christ) and live according to His Word (The Bible). God loves diversity, and yet He also desires unity within the Church. The Church is supposed to be the Light of the world💡, a city on a hill. As Christ’s hands and feet, the church is here to shine light, love, truth, and mercy into dark places to guide people back into a right relationship with God so they too can become members of His Kingdom (Family). Evangelism (leading people to Christ/Kingdom of God) and Discipleship (teaching God’s people HOW to live for Christ/Kingdom of God) are the primary responsibilities of the Church.
THE KINGDOM OF GOD: God’s Kingdom is His Family. It is both a Spiritual Kingdom and a literal Kingdom. God’s kingdom first broke through on this earth when Jesus Christ arrived two thousand years ago. Christ’s Kingdom on earth currently dwells within the heart of each believer. As members of Christ’s kingdom, believers are to live according to Kingdom/family principals and not the principals of this world. God’s Kingdom rules in LOVE – LOVE of God and LOVE of people. Kingdom values are polar opposite of worldly values. Worldly values are SELF centered. Kingdom values are GOD centered.
Kingdom values include Love, Holiness, Righteousness, Humility, Kindness, Mercy, Generosity, Forgiveness, Faithfulness, Self-control. Without Holiness, no one can SEE GOD. God’s Kingdom will come to this earth in its fullness at the second coming of Jesus Christ.
RAPTURE: Jesus Christ is returning to the earth, potentially very soon. Before Jesus returns, the earth will experience something called “The Great Tribulation”. The Great Tribulation will be a time of great suffering and pain. The Bible calls the Tribulation period the worst time that has ever existed on the earth. The Bible even tells us that if God had not shortened the days, no flesh would survive. God will pour out His Wrath over unrepentant sinners by removing His Hand of protection. Evil will literally explode on the earth during this time. Just prior to this frightening time, Jesus Christ will remove His people from the earth in a supernatural, Divine Rescue that the Bible calls the Rapture (Harpazo).
