
I heard a great analogy today from Tony Evans, and I just had to share it.
James 4:7 tells us the following:
Submit yourselves then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
If you’re allergic to ragweed, for example, I doubt very highly you will be dancing around in too many overgrown fields this time of year.
The devil is no different. Prayer is a powerful pollen that quickly sends him running. He cannot tolerate it for long, so stay steadfast in the Lord.
Show reverence to the Lord, pray often, and show satan the door.
