Blessings to you this 19th day of the 9th month of 2019. That’s alot of 9’s! Because the world is moving at such a fast pace, and we are literally racing into the end of days, we’ve started a Facebook page that will provide links to the signs of the times, Christian news articles and encouragement, and other relevant information. We pray this will be a blessing to you as we watch together for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please feel free to share this information to family and friends so that they too, can be blessed. We truly believe we are in the last of the last days! Events are rapidly picking up pace, and we’re seeing signs all around us. From mass animal deaths, wars and rumors of war, increasingly drastic weather events, earthquakes in various places, famines, pestilence, etc. Yes, there are alot of signs all around us.
I think everyone “feels” that SOMETHING is about to break loose, even those who are not of the Faith. The tension in the air is sometimes palpable. But the Good News is that when we see these things coming to pass, we can have peace in the storms. We LIFT up our heads because our Redemption draws near. Those of us who are watching, who are ready, can bless others who may be frightened and confused at what they are seeing. The more we stay informed, watching and waiting, the more we can comfort others and also help them to be aware of the DECEPTION and LIES that are all around us! News and media organizations, government institutions, financial and educational institutions, places where many of us have put our trust, seem to be crumbling under the weight of sin. Populations are divided, and sadly, the love of many has waxed cold.
It is in the midst of all of this turmoil, that we FIX our eyes on JESUS! No President, Prime Minister, or Government leader can fix this broken world. The Bible is very clear about where the world is heading….towards chaos, but ultimately towards the Kingdom of God on the earth. Even in the midst of the MASSIVE TURMOIL that we see daily, ALL of us can be blessed and encouraged as we spread the GOOD NEWS of the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ. Jesus IS our ARK in the FLOOD, HE IS our SHELTER in the STORMS! In this world we WILL have trials, troubles, pain and difficulties, but we can be of GOOD CHEER because Jesus has overcome the WORLD!!! This world is NOT our home. When people around us FIGHT and ARGUE over politics, over racial, ethnic, religious DIVISION, we fix our eyes on JESUS. Staying above the fray and focusing our attention on the Kingdom of God will bring great peace in these storms. We do not put all of our trust and confidence into this world system because the world is passing away. Jesus is coming soon and HE makes ALL THINGS NEW!
